its better to drop the cfl"s as close to plants as you can instead of pissing about with reflectors,as they lose alot of their power when used in a reflector,great for h.p.s+metal halide but useless for c.f,l"s-just read up about it+youll see what i mean

an easier way to make a better reflector would be to make the shape of the reflector u want and then cover that with maylar.

for the design you used it would b better to just slit a can from top to bottom and fold it out to house the light and reflect it back at a wider angle.
