But there was a typo and it came out wrong.

So people that leave the church are just wasting their time there? How does he know that? Has he talked to those people, or is he just making assumptions? Also, I'm offended by the notion that I'm wasting my life because I don't go to church anymore and I don't see Christianity the way that he sees it.

I think you can get more people involved in ministry by doing away with the unbiblical practice of having one man dominate the church meeting each week with his 40+ minute monologue. That as no basis in the NT at all.

The New Testament church experience is to be about the whole body coming together for the purpose of mutual edification. The whole body is to function and not just one man, and/or some worship team. (see 1 Cor 11-14, Eph 4, Col 3 etc.)

@artemioMALAKAS So it is to be when it comes to a true NT ekklesia (church) with the exception that everything is to be done unto edification. Much like in a regular family, its best that members sit facing each other which generally helps with interaction. Also, the ekklesia should generally be small so that the church is able to fulfill its responsibility in giving each member somewhat of an opporunity to share and contribute to the meeting. (Cont)
