  • NASASAKTAN NA PO ANG ATING INANG PILIPINAS.ANg sabi kasi Alpabetong Pilipino pero bakit a b c d e f g h diba dapat a ba ka da,NASAKTAN AKO T_T

  • To be honest, I prefer our old alphabet... 'cuz it seems like it's really our own...

Not like the new one... it's derived from English... and English is actually not our local language, we use it daily, not as our own language...

I observed that some of our traditions and culture are slowly fading and are replaced by foreign cultures... Why don't we keep and maintain our own tradition and culture? :(

  • im am a filipino and i know that its NOT the a ba ka da song. add vowels like, ha, na, ka, la

  • This is NOT the Filipino Alphabet! It does not reflect the national language "Tagalog." There are NO alphabets like C, F, Q, J, V, X, and Z. If this video is an example of what is being taught in the Philippines, then sadly it needs national attention to be corrected.

  • @nelissarn2 Interesting enough sulat tagalog/baybayin(ALIBATA IS INCORRECT TERM DO NOT USE IT) does not have a specific character for them either, instead we just use replacements with our own characters.

J becomes di-ya,q can become Kuiu,k is an exact replacement of c but not when it's mixed with h z is totally replaced with s but we can tell the difference, v is totally replaced by b but again we can tell the difference, the others are a little trickier to do though.Easier in kulitan script tho

  • @nelissarn2 It is the modern Filipino Alphabet. And the national language is Filipino, not Tagalog. The a-ba-ka-da was based on Tagalog. The Filipino Language is a mix of almost all (if not complete) dialects spoken in the country. In Visayas and Mindanao, letters like c, z, v are used, and since Filipino is a combination of all dialects, it's just reasonable to include them in the Filipino Alphabet.

Ang linggwahe natin ay nagbabago, kaya mayroon ding revisyon sa alfabeto.

  • ano b yan.............

  • i think this is the more modern one. i still love abakada from florante.

  • is this the new alphabet? it changed again? i dont know can some 1 tell me.

  • @lilaznchris tha's not really that!! its a ba ka da e ga ha i la ma na nga o pa ra sa ta u wa ya ang ating abakada kung ito'y alam nyo na tayo na at kumanta

  • I love this song so much it is so cool and good for the kids that dont no the tagalog language at all and my name is Romasanta A Baldorado.

  • I know. Who changed it anyway? We did well without C, V, F, ñ, X, Z, J, and Q. We could have used just S, B, P NY, KS, S, H, K/KW, respectively.

  • érdekes/aranyos

  • aervick, its the new way of pronouncing the Filipino alphabet. What you were trying to point, I think is the Tagalog alphabet. They're two different things.

  • nope that one is the new Philippine alphabet, since our language is now using words derived from English. Its just that we have additional 2 letters which are Ñ and Ng.

  • Nope. NG is part of the original alphabet. The loaned letters weren't just ñ. It included C, B, F, J, X, F, and Q.

  • yes i know what i meant was the LANGUAGE (NOT the letters) is now using English derived words which haVe no equivalent sounds in OLD Filipino Alphabet like C, B, F, J, X, F, and Q. And I was comparing the New Filipino and English alphabet. I said that we have 28 and they have 26 because we have ñ and ng.

  • Well, by the way your sentence is constructed, you seem to mean otherwise. In your previous comment, you weren't saying that you were comparing the English and New Filipino alphabet. You also have not said anything about we having 28 and them having 26 because so and so.

All caps doesn't make your statement purposeful.

ps. How can letters use English derived "words"? Damn, I'm not that dumb y'know.

    pps. "C, B, F, J, X, F, and Q" (?) Check your facts first, will you?

  • And try to read your previous comment first and see what I'm talking about.

  • oh I see... well i'm so sorry if I misled you... My bad...kkkkk... you have your own interpretation and I think Aervick got my msg... And for the facts that you were talking about, well I copied the letters from your first reply and I wasn't able to check it...my bad again.. =) enough for this...=I

  • haha, My bad, too, I see. I'm sorry.

Well, it seems like this is what happened to Chip Tsao, if you know. Haha, many interpretations of the same language. But o well, white flags here now. :)

  • haha

  • lmao!!!

  • beautiful children ^^

  • cute ^_^
