  • Awesome. I want the entire movement!

  • Good job!! :)

  • This is delightful!

  • even mozart will be hypnotyzed by ur ur performance sire. we want ur some more classic melodies as well as ur own creative concords.

  • MOAR!!!

  • man u rock this is great .what is the name of this instrument?

  • @lello2445 shamisen.

  • Shamisen is usually tuned in three different ways... root-fourth-root. root-fifth-root, or root-fourth-fourth. The actual notes of the strings can be adjusted to various keys! D-A-D is common but C-G-C is a little more standard.

  • What tuning you use, D-A-D? Thanks.

  • Mozart san

  • i wanted to hear the rest so bad, Kevin, you are are freakin' tease!!

  • what a boring instrument, but the sound its amazing

  • Whats the robe thing your wearing called? ive wanted one for quite some time now

  • @ltownrocker133 its either a gi, or some type of samuri robe.

  • That was so cool!!

  • HOLY SHIT

  • Very .very..very good...

  • @SargentandGreenLeaf It's a style and what makes the instrument unique. Unfortunately it doesn't sound the best with very fast-paced music (IMO) but I believe this piece suited it nicely.

Perhaps next time you comment with something negative, read up on the object and stop trying to turn this into a debate. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a discussion board.

  • @SargentandGreenLeaf

You obviously have no clue about the traditional sound of the Shamisen....not attacking you though, most don't. this is not just a string instrument but a percussion instrument as well.

  • Wow. strange comments lately. yikes!

  • Sir, will you be the father of my child?

  • i would love to hav this guy chilling in my attic!

  • do the whole song!

  • Agreed. Love Mozart!

  • I bow to your sir!

And what could anyone add about Mozart? His music was a gift to humanity from God.

  • FLAWLESS VICTORY!

And I though playing the string bass was hard because it didn't have frets like a guitar.

But this is really cool! I want to learn now.

  • pretty awesome lol kinda sounded a little eerie XD

  • I don`t know about shoes but what about behind the head?

  • thats clever can he play the song on his shoes?

  • It combines the aspect of both western and eastern music, perfect! An epic video!

  • that was so cool

  • This is epic xd

  • Nice! But some of thee notes were out ov pitch!

  • It's fretless..lol. Come on.

  • So are the all the string instruments in an orchestra. But still, epic.

  • Yeah. So obviously notes might land off pictch..

  • thats wiked

  • I think that riff was lifted from the Scorpions 1976 Tokyo concert---sure as hell sounds like Ulrich Roth to me!

  • Dude, how do you get such a great sound without a stack of Marshall's?

  • too short. can we have a longer version, please.

  • more players! yes!

  • yeah I agree.

  • So, who are they gonna be?

  • Monsters of Shamisen, of course.

I also think more instruments would help the tone on this piece.

  • I agree. He plays in a group. I saw it. they should do this with full sound.

  • This kind of music needs more players.

  • one of the best of shamisen players!

  • Guy looks like Tiny Tim with a better tan.

  • Thanks, DrWhiggs.. now I'll be watching Tiny Tim videos for the next hour.. a wonderful artist to be compared to imo..

  • Question: Have you ever played the game Samurai Shodown 2, and if so, do you think you could recreate the shamisen part of Kyoshiro's stage music?

  • Pretty damn incredible! A great symphony married to an amazing instrument. I agree that the whole piece would have been even more amazing.

  • , So cool

  • lol

  • Great tone!
