With roots in the violent sport of bullbaiting, the American Bulldog was later developed as a farm dog and hunter's assistant, herding and protecting livestock and hunting everything from squirrels to bear.
@MrTurnitup We sold all those pups about a year ago. We had another litter 2 and a half months ago and we have 1 male left. He is light brindle and white, big and very active. We are looking for a specific type of owner because he was born a little insecure and jumpy, but we've been expending some time to make him secure and so far is working. If you are interested shut me a message with your number and we'll tell you a little bit more about him.
@JimmyDaBopper13 ok, before I can give you any advice I would have to ask you a few questions. The Amer. bulldog is a puppy or over a year old? Has the Labrador been around other dogs? Is the Lab fix? Do you know a little of the female's story?. I know for personal experience that Amer. Bulldogs mostly females are sweethearts, if they haven't been exposed to an agressive environment you can have an awesome companion for you other dog. Let me know so I can give you better and more detail advice.
I have a 7 yr old and she is the SWEETEST dog ever.......our Boston Terrier lets Kates know who's boss........but Kates is most loveable dog ever! Very loving dogs,,,
I hope they get a good home, and not in the street, Iam against people making business mating dogs, when the shelter are full of cats and dogs waiting to be adopted when in many cases doesn't happens and end up being putting them to sleep, it is that fair? I have one american bulldog that I found down my n'hood. he is very good and loving one, but not many regardless the race end in good hands.
@bellojardin787 Thank you for your concern but if you go to our website, we have a very strict policy about not giving our dogs to just anybody. All the pups in this video have awesome families most of them with kids that totally adore them. We give the new owners the options, that if by any circumstance they can't take care of their pup because of life sudden surprises, we adopt them back. We love our dogs and I'm not gonna risk their safety for just a few bucks. Thanks again for your concern.
Nice pups today is Agustín 14 me and my wife hve been awake since 2 am its 8 am Noé and my dog has six beautiful pups 3m and 3D we are still with her and ur pups are so cúter i Williams have vídeos of mine postes everything week
You got one puppy there with a body suit that looks just like mine !!! Is the dark body suit puppy considered a "blue". The bitch that welped my puppy had a blue body suit.
My puppy has a light brown body suit with human colored blue eyes. I have a huge
female English Mastiff, but the little Bulldog is the real beauty queen !!!
The Sire is nice .. can you go into detail as to his Pedigree? I would guess it has some Something Special "SS" maybe some Kennedy.
I got a Johnson female puppy that has human colored blue eyes, not scary Husky eyes ... deep blue lake water blue eyes. I hope they do not change she is only three months and has the perfect coloring .. I am going to put more videos of her on her as she gets bigger
Really? I never heard anything like that... My female has the the best mother instincts ever, she never hurt the puppies or my babies. It might depend of how much attention you pay to them.
@hardviener My American Bulldog had poor maternal instincts. She would sit on them and act as if they weren't even in the bin with her. And she ate one! But I was told they only eat them if they can tell they wont live or if a pup is already dead.
@Garsioni Yes, she had 12! But only 8 lived if I'm remembering correctly. But she had them outside in December (inside her warm dog house) but it was still extremely cold weather so we moved them inside after about 2 or 3 days I felt like too many were beginning to die. So we saved a lot but still....
Awesome video. My parents and I have two Bulldogs. Our female is pregnant now and due anyday. Do you have any tips for us? This is her first liter, and we hope to do more if this goes well. We have read things on random websites, but I wanted to know if their were any helpful hints you could give us from your own experience with your dog. Congrats!!
Here's a tip for you...TOP BREEDING American Bulldogs. Please leave that to the people who know what they're doing. Go breed another dog where LOOKS, not PROVEN WORKING ABILITY is the goal.
@67goldtops I Really Hate People Like Yooh ! If People Want To Breed Let Them For Godness Sake ! Since When Is It Up To Yooh On Whether People Breed Dogs Or Not . If It Was Really That Bad Then Wouldn't There Be A Law Of Some Sort ?
You're a fool. "If it was really that bad then wouldn't there be a law of some sort?"
Priceless. Just priceless.
Do you want to know what I hate?? People like YOU who form an opinion, and then proceed to shoot off their uneducated mouths based on their own ignorant opinion. Tell you what...LEARN SOMETHING. Do some reading. Talk to some parents of broken-hearted children who have purchased genetically flawed American Bulldogs, bred by clowns like the person on this thread.
@67goldtops Uneducated? I may not be as old as you, but I know what I'm talking about. Think about it. Does it really matter about their working ability, if its a dog who's going to be with young children, isn't it more about personality. Those dogs are obviously friendly and good with kids (correct me if I'm wrong). Maybe it should be you learning, instead of trying to teach the wrong things. These people are obviously not clowns, so it should be you not shooting of your mouth!
No, you THINK you know what you're talking about. You're sadly mistaken. That is why you think working ability & being "good with kids" are mutually exclusive. They're not. If someone breeds for working ability, they're, by definition, producing balanced, mentally stable, trainable dogs that, by virtue of those qualities, are "good with children." If they're health testing, the dogs lead a long, healthy life, which is "good for children." Make sense, CLOWN?
@67goldtops I am not mistaken, maybe in your opinion they need good working ability but in mine its more about the personality. Don't call me a "Clown" your the one making a fool out of yourself arguing with somebody half your age.
Oh, so in addition to reputable American Bulldog breedings being predicated on a dog's "personality," you're attempting to claim that AGE is the discriminant factor in internet debates. How laughable. Newsflash for you-Your age is irrelevant. I don't know, nor do I CARE how old you are. So no, "your age" far from renders me a fool. Now, back to the topic. @67goldtops What proof do you have that these dogs have "bad hips" or have them anywhere along the family line. All dogs have fear, all fears can be overcome... and for the age topic, would you speak to me like that if I confronted you in person..
See, like I said earlier, you're simply uneducated. That you even question bad hips as plaguing American Bulldogs shows how little you know. How about NCL in the breed? Any experience w/ that disorder? Ever see an AB fall literally fall apart over night to to its breeders not testing for NCL? I have. Yet YOU insist breeding is predicated on dogs w/ "personality." How utterly comical. Jump on google & research "NCL IN AMERICAN BULLDOGS," silly fucking child.
@67goldtops What do you actually know about THESE dogs, how do you know that they have "NCL"? But you can believe in what you want, i can believe in what I want, simple. Silly fucking hag..
Nowhere in my statements did I claim "these" dogs carry NCL. Nowhere did I claim "these" dogs have bad hips. The point is, w/out the necessary HEALTH SCREENINGS, the breeding shouldn't be performed. The dogs may be NCL free w/ excellent hips. They may be carriers w/ bad hips. The point is, dog breeders need to test. It's called being a RESPONSIBLE BREEDER. Yet in YOUR world, all that's necessary is that the dogs have "personality." HAHAHA. Simply priceless!
I'm saying you can believe WHATEVER you want. That you think that equates to having ANY knowledge on the subject of responsibly breeding healthy dogs is nothing short of comedic ineptitude! Oh & for the record, YOU originally addressed ME on this vid. My RESPONDING hardly constitutes "Picking arguments." Man, will you EVER be right about ANYTHING? Please, come back soon & tell me more about how health screenings are less important than doggy "personality."
Awwwwww, did you finally give up on your silly argument? I was getting such laughs out of reading how breeders should forget about health screenings and instead focus on "doggy personality." That's such a brilliant philosophy!!
Gave up? On what, exposing your colossal stupidity? LOL. The only thing sillier than your weakass argument is you homepage picture. The last time I saw that many double-chins, it was on a walrus at the San Diego zoo. What's the matter, Chubby? You've never heard of liposuction? HAHA!!
@67goldtops I'm fat get over it? Yer I've heard of it I'm not old enough to get it... Why insult me when I haven't insulted you about your look, your just pathetic, looking for an argument. Okay your right about the importance of personality... can you just not insult me? I'm not exactly the most prettiest/ skinniest person out there but that doesn't make you better than me...
@67goldtops I'm fucking chubby get over it, its better than being some anorexic hoe who picks arguments and picks on little kids. Yeh after you called me a silly fucking child. Your so pathetic :L Its the internet I'm not being assessed so I can type how I want. Go pick on someone who can be bothered to fight with a stuck up bitch like you and fuck off...
Hmmm mum seems very good in terms of allowing you so close to her newborns. You guys did a great job raising her. Perhaps the boy shouldn't get so close right away? I dont know, I don;t know you or your son or your dog. Just figured I'd voice an opinion :P. I've learned children should be introduced 1-2 days after the birth. Ah well, you know your dogs and children best though :P
Thank you for your opinion but our female started delivering her pups around 11:45 p.m on a saturday and she was done with the labor at 6:30a.m on a sunday. We were not allowing our kid in the room at that moment because it could have cause him a very big impression (Not a very pleasant thing to experience when you are only 4). After that we gave the female a good day of rest. Our boy saw the pups on a monday night. Thank you again for your opinion.
when any dog or cat gives birth you should never ever toch their pups let the mom do their job beacuse theres a risk of the mommy not want them any more after you toch then and they could die.
