OtterBox Blackberry Bold Defender Series Review

FIRST! That isn't a BOLD 9700 BlackBerry! I've upgraded my BlackBerry 4 times to the new Bold 9780 and had OtterBox on all of them. The design you see is AWESOME! Mine hung up as I was coming down a ladder from the 6th floor and ended up going to the ground! Not a scratch on it! BUT... The design on the new Bold OtterBox DOES NOT cup the bottom like this shows and has two tiny arms that pinch the side of the case and the arms and case divits break SUPER EASY!! They've replaced 4 of them now!

if you want to never damage your phone...just dont take it out of the box.

I have this for iphone 3g. I like it, because I don't want to accidentally drop it or get water on it, or have water get on its ports and then it breaks. I don't think at&t even insures these anymore. You have to pay $500 to $600 to get a new one. And I don't wanna pay that. My mom got the Bold and she has this too.

looks like an armour, but it adds too much bulk to the Blackberry...I don't wanna carry around that much weight...

that case is too much, i understand protecting your phone, but thats just crazy.
