What they went through was no different than what a lot of us went through at that time, { referring to the comment made earlier}, and it wasn't about Joe using them ok! I mean we all kinda live vicariously through our kids at some point, but he was a musician and knew what it took and saw there potential and invested, even when everybody else including his wife thought he was crazy! In a very violent city with a lot of children, he had to be tough, but he deserve a lot more credit from us..

We love this show, me and my kids. In some parts of this movie there are alot parralells to our own life. My hb does not beat our kids, but he is really hard on them when it comes to their sports, some of the conversations that Joe and Mrs. Jackson have could be a conversation that me and my hb would have. I just love this part. It is so sad when the boys get beat. I know my kids feel really bad when we watched this movie. I love this show so much. Their fame sure came at price...
