  • Crap camera. Too many hoops to jump through to get footage to a Mac. get a Canon HV40 or a real camera Panasonic TM700! Sorry, I have it and don't use it. COMING TO EBAY SOON!

  • @TheWarRoomInc if you have enough money get jvc hm100u, native final cut format and professional qualty of video and build.

  • wow, how do you do this?

  • @QuadP0D Render it in final cut, vegas or etc.

  • You're obviously super zoomed as evident by the shake (OIS wasn't that good on that model). Nice looking bokeh though. I really like that camera, it was sexy and had a focus ring. Too bad about the interlaced only footage though, lack of 24p was a deal breaker

  • You're obviouosly super zoomed in as is evident by the shake in the shots. The bokeh looks good though. Too bad the camera didn't record progressive and have 24p, it was a sexy looker with a focus ring and everything!

  • the hd7 shoots interlaced or progressive? i ask because i have one and i don't know much.

  • from what i understand, the camera shoots in progressive, but then is converted to interlaced. i found this on google:

Signals are processed first as 1920 x 1080p progressive signals, then converted to 1920 x 1080i interlace signals for recording. JVC does not explain in greater detail how exactly progressive signal is converted to interlaced, but claims that chosen approach allows recording a higher resolution HD image than the interline (IL) CCD system.

  • can you control the progressive scan on this cam? Thanks.

  • @georgeddirector unfortunately no, there's no way to control the progressive scan on the camera.

  • On when you are focusing it on the window, is that all the camera or did you use some software?

  • @MaNChaNN3l it was all done with the camera. i only used magic bullet looks effects to tweak the colors.

  • how did you do that ? i have the same cam

  • hey how can i turn the progressive scan on?

    thanks

  • are u using an adapter?

  • nope, no adapter. just the camera.

  • yeah thats interlaced right there

  • the progressive scan seems off...
