  • Yes,I love my Sheptone 59 Tribute PAF too.

    Check out these killer ampmodelings:

The Stealer is modelled after a 1969 Park 75 head

that sounds incredible Happy New Year , Cheers

    scuffhamamps

  • why dont you play it on clean so i can hear the pick ups..

  • @fretboarder lol. i think thats kind of hard with that amp, its the worlds smallest tube amp. its like .5 watts, not a whole lot of head room

  • Damn, these sound awesome. Amp?

  • Thanks!!! The amp is a Zvex nano

  • What speaker and cabinet were you using in this test?

  • Avatar cabinet.. vintage 30's speakers

  • Just Got my sheptones today, the Brian Kahanek Signature set. I shipped them back today haha. i ordered them in zebra and aged nickel covers. It slipped his mind about the aged because we talked on facebook. But now I'm dieing to get them back and but them in my new 1959 Honey Burst Les Paul. I strongly dislike burstbuckers

  • I'm with ya on that... I can't stand Burstbuckers.Good luck with the Shep's, love to hear them after install

  • you know I will, I'll also compare them to the antiquities I have.

  • Great!!

  • I've just received a set of Sheptone tributes for my Les Paul. Can't wait to install them. Got really high hopes for them after everything I've heard.

  • Ya gonna love em

  • So what's your current 2k time on that Concept 2 sitting there?

  • 2k time is zero sold the concept a long time ago. LOL

  • Hehe - the two don't mix too well I've found, keeping fit and late night gigs that is!

  • I hear ya!! LMAO

  • Sounds great man. I just got a set of Sheptone PAF tributes too. I have em in my Hamer Studio. I posted some videos of me and my band jamming, check em out if you get a second. Killer chops dude.

  • Thanks my bro. Checked ya out diggin it Mr. Chunky

  • Hi Michael, Great playing and great tone. I just got a set of those Sheptone PAF pickups and love thrie tone. I do get some squealing though, do you get any squealing out of yours? are they potted?

  • Michael- LOL, Thanks for the compliments. I have no squealing at all. Check all of your ground points if not contact Sheptone and have it relaced. Mine is not potted.

  • Oh so you're not Michael Schenker? Well you sound like him......

BTW, The pickups squeal goes away when I touch the cover with my finger in the middle of the pickup. Strange ha?

  • Hmmm did you check the ground to the back of your pot? BTW I love Schenker if you hear him in my playing that's the highest compliment. Thank you

  • The ground is soldered on solid. Shep thinks that the top of the covers need to be waxed. I'm sure it's some kind of a mechanical vibration problem with the covers, just like the old style Tele bridges which are not tight against the body at their fron and causing the same problem. I'm sending them back to Shep to take care of it... Rock on...

  • Cool

  • Sounds great, really nice singing tone.

  • thank you

  • sounds good

  • Thanks

  • Where do I get one ??
