i always thought they were messy and hard to use but he makes it look easy and wonderful...easier than crayons. I am ready to pull out mine again and see what I can do. Its wonderful to rediscover that feeling,

Here's a good one I started using cheesecloth to blend pastels together. This saves me alot of time for sceneries.

when Ure using pastels, U can start wherever U want to.
U only shouldn't put wrong colours in wrong places
cuz after securing it with fixative (no mention here)
the colours may blend at all layers.. -sometimes it really sucks.
