When nuclear plants are people proof. They will be safe. People CAUSED the accident. They turned OFF the cooling water.

Also remember that US nuclear power is all unique. If one plant has a failure, the information cant help any other plant.

I know how much radiation people recieved from the "accident" approximately 2 millisieverts (200 millirem). This is bullshit. There's no way in hell that caused any cancer. That is not much when you consider the Liquidators at Chernobyl experienced anywhere from 100-500 or more.

Look @ those citizens who survived living with cancer to this day and the children they gave birth too. Tell them your going to build a few more here and there. You can assume away all you like. I do know enough about them. all i need to know. My husband had to work int three of them. Testing three plants in the country so I think I've had my share of worry. Testing dear... Testing and he had his share of worry first hand. And 3 mile Island is a stones throw away as far as fallout would be considered for me.

After 1986 my husband had 2 go 2 a plant 2 test some plants for emc emmisions.@ that time. they feared then the same nightmare was possible from electrical failures. He spent time in the control rm under armed guards watching over his work. It was like the enterprise. He got scared from the alrms going off & this one man when they went off would finger thru a book 12"'s thick looking for what it meant. That didn't make him comfortable. Each person has its designated area U dont cross the line.

Aracuru what about Chernobyl? If they hadn't sacrificed the few who were able 2 prevent the thing to blow again all of Europe would have become uninhabitable. The fallout spread as far from that disaster 2 the US.
