funny.. i have a 9yr old moroccan.. he does that too.. and when he gets real active in his tank.. sometimes he stands up using his tail for balance.. as if trying to get my attn..
@djdaleotolski Maybe you should show her some videos of other people who own them. Especially videos of people talking about how sweet they are and how easy they are to care for/how-to videos on how to set up their cages and feed them. Or maybe she doesn't care, she just doesn't want to pay for it. If you're old enough to have a job then offering to pay for it might help to persuade her.
Please be advised to all concerned Uromastyx owners that I do not feed my lizard meat. This was a one time occassion for purposes of shooting the video. Also, he was not stressed when performing this little trick. I have kept Uromastyx for over 15 years and they all have been strict vegetarians. Thanks for taking a look at my little darling.
Mine thinks hes a dog too:D hes so cute, I love him<33 I rescuded him, when I first got him his back was all crusted over from multipul sunburns and he was so skinny and his color so dull and now he is huge and a fatty and is so bright!
Although Zeus looks like a juvenile, he's almost 4 years old. He's actually fully grown but just happens to be a runt. In nature, he would probably not survive because of his small size. I think he's cuter than the Geico lizard except Zeus is real not an animation.

He's only 10 inches long with the tail and weighs about 130 grams. or 4.6 ounces- a little feller.

My homemade turkey meatloaf. BTW, I don't feed him meat ever on a regular basis. He's a strict vegetarian lizard as most Uros are.
