This game is based on rhythm and funk. The thing about games like this, madden, clay fighter, and most sega games really is that the graphics are not great but the game can feel your rhythm and your timing, and you use THAT to play well and unlock secrets.

Sega is the only game system I have and the only one I will. so there.

@bibinson Yes. One could tell it's GEMS based, simply by the instruments used (slap bass, fretless bass, horns/trumpets, etc.). Nu*Romantic (a frequent user of GEMS) uses mostly the same instrument set across their games. Sonic Spinball, which also uses GEMS-driven, uses some of the same instruments (which seems to indicate to me that GEMS is merely a general-MIDI type driver.)

GEMS has a great slap bass instrument, and it has a very clear DAC driver from the sound of things.
