I have aspergers and I will never want to be "fixed" or "normalized" of my autism because I am who I am and I will be what I want to be with the help of my friends and family. I have a non verbal learning disability and I feel very connected to people with Autism. I don't understand with the parents of Autistic children choose to be so pitiful. You strive to present your child in the worse possible way for your own personal gratification. Do you crave social acceptance more than you value your child ?Every child deserves to be loved and accepted for the whole person that they are not demeaned and scorned by their own parents.
Apparantly, they do so. Parents are way more likely to desperatly try to "remove" autistic symptoms than to take a closer look in order to understand their child´s perception of the world, way of thinking and their passions. It´s time to rethink autism. Most people still choose the easy way.

Great video! I also have a child on the Spectrum! He s 8 and in a really good special Ed. private school in Cal. I'm paying as the his school district is unable too! The constant fighting wasn't worth what he received. I'm happy to announce that Daniel just did his first Jumping Jack and tied his shoes. He is worth all the money in the world to me! If they don't help then find a way to do it yourself with famiy support! Don't wait or those --- holes!

Biomedical Interventions have helped my son have a happier life, and he is on his way. Our autism donations go to places that offer Hope, Health, and Happiness. You made me cry too! I also have a 9 yr old son with autism. He is talking more and more and loves any kind of physical activity: riding bikes or ponies, swimming, hiking and enjoys new experiences. He too is such a gift from God and I totally agree that our love and acceptance of him helps him grow. TGod must have a plan for these children. They are such beautiful spirits!
