  • The Association stepping a little out of character - love it !!!

  • I love the rockin' side of the Association. I think a lot of that sound has to do with Brian's amazing rough voice. He surely is a talented one. And A great bassist! And Terry is AMAZING on harmonica. Why didn't he play it more?? Great performance and song!

  • This one definitely showed their "rockin" side indeed! A rare treat to see Brian Cole on vocals. And Terry Kirkman can sure toot out a mean harmonica. Rock on, guys!

  • Sounds like they're singing "you got that"

  • Thjis group could ROCK too--this is the proof--Brian Cole takes the reins on lead vocal. When you listen to it carefully, it does sound as if a few of the guys are singing "She got fucked"--well, the crowd didn't get "fucked" hearing this Tim Hardin blues/folk number...and right after "Windy", perhaps?

  • @truethought62 I have actually isolated the track on this and the album version...and a friend talked to Ramos about it. This isn't "Louie, Louie" urban legend. Still, one of my favorite bands.

  • What energy!

  • This song amazed me when I first heard it. It is a Tim Harden song. For a long time I though that the harmony singers were singing, "Shoo-bop-bop). Some years later, after careful listening, I couldn't believe my Association fan ears. They are singing, "She got fucked." Nope, not urban legend...listen and hear it yourself.
