ok so "technically" this is Guns N Roses but no amount of money and no contract can say that this version of GNR is better than the Appetite for Destruction line up. honestly, does anyone out there actually think that Chinese Democracy is BETTER than appetite for destruction??? I didn't think so...

by the way, I'm not an Axl hater, i have a lot of respect for him, I just like Steven, Duff, Slash and Izzy better =D

Actually as a whole I like Chinese Democracy better than Appetite for Destruction. But they're apples and oranges, different albums. I think the songs on Chinese Democracy (some of which date back to the 90's) reflect Axl's desire to move forward into new musical territory. The old Guns weren't interested and the original band had disintegrated by the mid 90's. The new Guns might not be as popular, but they've been around longer and I think newer songs like "Better" are more interesting.

I feel a bit sorry for Axl over Chinese Democracy because he wanted it to be like the greatest album ever, but so many people hate it, or can't get over the fact that it doesnt have Slash, Duff, Izzy or Steven as part of the line up.

I don't hate Chinese Democracy (I do own and it & have listened to it a couple of times), I just much much MUCH prefer AFD, My Michelle is my most played song on itunes & I know the whole lot back to front haha.

Man, I can`t believe you got several thumbs down on that cmment. I loved GNR back in the days and still do, but in no way is Chinese Democracy better than any of the ould albums, Spaghetti Incident excluded.

meh i'm not bothered if i get thumbs down for my comment, it doesn't make me believe in it any less =D i was kinda expecting it coz this is a new GN'R related video... if it was on original GN'R video i most likely would have got plenty of thumbs up. So i'm not bothered. But thank you for agreeing with me hahaha

lol @ all the Axl haters out there. If you do not like him or his new music then do not listen, its that simple.Slash and the old members are gone and are NEVER coming back so if you prefer the old Guns n Roses line up then just STFU and listen to that. Like it or not this is Guns n Roses.

the stage miss SALASH... AXL is agreat vocal(all of us know that) but The band isnt all about vocal.. SLASH AND THE ATHERS is not just part of the band ... they are part of every song GUNS N ROSES ever sing..!!

THERE"S NO GUNS N" ROSES WITHOUT-Slash, Izzy, Duff & Steven. I can't believe he is continuing the band without them - Hold on: There IS NO BAND!!! It's just axl that concert, and all the other ones with just axl would of sucked.

I mean even if they sounded O.K, it's just not the same;they will never be Guns N' Roses. (PS.Did you see hoe damm ugly Axl is now, He used to be HOT!)

yeah izzy wrote the best songs together with traitor axl rose... slash was also the best ingredient. this shit band he put together is a joke.. i mean great musicians but... come on their like interpreting classical music.. no feeling nothing new.

I didn't even know there were commercials advertising the australian tour!, How I found out was through the internet on Yahoo News out of sheer chance!, good thing I checked. I got the impression the Aust, tour was poorly promoted cos I didn't see any TV ads just cos the album hadn't come out. I think these ads were played late night.
