The guy holding this phone thought he had something condemning the cop when he actually sunk the ladies in deeper trouble than they already were in. Justice is served. I'm glad the outcome was what it was. This cop is already back on the street working and sleeps well at night knowing he was right.

The cop actually presented the THESE videos as evidence in favor to clear himself of any wrong doing! The cop originally had lower charges on the women and it was only after all the videos came to light that the charges were upgraded! People forget that cops use video and audio everyday to support them.

Dozens of witness statements flooded in defending the cop. These people watched the whole thing, not just the 4 second action scene everyone wants to critique. This situation from beginning to end took more like 10-15 minutes.

Hands on techniques were about the only thing he had available to him. He didn't have a taser, OC spray would have cleared out the whole restaurant, he didn't have enough time to pull the baton and he was in a very confined place as well. He was dealing with TWO combative people simultaneously!

Nothing to hurt the lady but enough to let her know he was MORE than just serious and that he was not playing games. She fired back with a series of strikes. This was not self defense on her part like everyone claims. She had no business obstructing the officer in the first place. She had no right to push him. The slap didn't hurt her and she was in no danger needing defending.

I dare say there are far more good guys in policing than in any other profession. No other profession has every breath scrutinized like the police.

I've seen prick cops before too but I've never seen them do all that for a parking ticket. Maybe for resisting arrest, but there has to be more to it than that. That parking ticket may have landed you in a jail due to your negligence, that I can see. I can see you taking a few bumps if you resisted the arrest too.

Perps try that approach everyday; everyday it ends badly for them. The police will always go one step higher until it's a full military style strike. You can't win that battle unless you have the full military behind you. If a citizen truly is in the right, then go have that day in court. That's how you win if you're in the right.

If you pull any type of weapon that can inflict any type of harm and that officer's perceives your intentions are to hurt someone, he'll simply shoot you and end the scenario. He's not going to play with you, he'll end the scenario. It's the same with lower levels of force. What's a step above pushing? The lady's lucky she didn't get popped harder the first time.

With that said, for you to understand this officer's actions you would have to know a lot more about State Law, established case law determined by the Supreme Court and police training. Most of what tells cops what they can and can't do has been decided by the Supreme Court. So when people try to rise against the police, who do they think they're fighting against?

The ladies in the booth were asked to quiet down, then asked to leave several times. The women told the cop to f***k off. He had no choice but to arrest them! So the arrest was very lawful! The lady started resisting and punched the cop, but that still doesn't give others the right to interfere!!

When a cop actually does do something wrong, it's dealt with much faster than in any other profession. Dirty cops get weeded out very fast. The ape lady had her charges upgraded DUE to the video. The Officer originally charged her with a misdemeanor obstruction charge. When the DA got ahold of the video evidence, he (the DA) upgraded the charges!
