  • Very informative video.

Metriks' FCE software allows the healthcare professional to objectively quantify and report on a person's functional abilities.

  • Why do MD's always have to use "cheesy" music in their videos lol.

  • @SportsTips thanks for stopping by and taking a look at the Rotater. I wish we were a couple of MDs, but we're not...just a couple of industrial mechanics who had a pretty good idea. Got our patent in May and have been working like crazy.

When we posted this video, we were so new to the internet that we were thrilled just to get it up and running. Check out some or our more recent videos ... much better.

  • @SportsTips I'm sorry didn't mean any offense, just having a laugh.

I'm think it's great what you're doing! I'm having to under go rehab for my ACL. keep up the good stuff.

  • @SportsTips No offense taken. The only reason we decided to leave this video up is because it gets so many views.

Good luck with your ACL rehab...I hear that's pretty rough!

  • That's a great design, looks simple and understandable to use, gives proper leverege to alter it with the other arm and even for other people to help.

  • @tyciol thanks for stopping to check out the Rotater and notice its' advantages. We've had great feedback from people just like you who are using the Rotater.

  • I have a partial tear in my left shoulder. It's not my dominant side, so I can take some time with trying to rehab it. I'm doing more strengthening of my dominant side. I use resistance bands. I plan on buying the Rotater. I think it's a small price to pay to try and avoid surgery, as well as get my shoulder back to where it was-maybe better than it was.

  • @MOMBUCK1 Thanks for considering using the Rotater as a part of your shoulder rehab. I'd love to hear how your shoulder responds. Please keep us posted.

  • I have used the Rotater for about 2 weeks now and it has helped a lot with a rotator cuff tear in my left shoulder. After doing the exercises as prescribed in the DVD that comes with it, my shoulder girdle has felt more stable and less painful. My range of motion has also increased drmatically. It's a clever and effective piece of rehab equipment.

    Thank you,

    Dana Williamson, D.C.

  • @drdanawilliamson

I'm glad to hear your shoulder is responding to the Rotater. Please keep me posted on our progress.

  • Yes & no. The stick will work, but in only one position for external rotation.

The person using a stick/t-bar must be diligent to keep the elbow in a fixed position. The more the elbow moves, the less effective the stretch. The Rotater eliminates this situation altogether & keeps the elbow in the correct position - this is why so many physical therapists & athletic trainers love it.

As for a stick and internal rotation - there is no comparison - result is sales in 48 states & 14 countries

  • I think I need to try one of these! I can just see it now.. 350 yard drives splitting the fairway! Tiger who?

  • Finally, true shoulder rehab potental between doctor visits. Unless I miss my guess, a warm up for most if not all shoulder related sports activites(golf, baseball/softball, football, etc.). If it will help those elderly mall walkers that you can't help but try to dodge with flailing arms as they speed shuffel thru the mall, I'm all for it. Where do I sign up for mine?

  • Great revolutionary device. It is so simple, yet will help the rehabilitation process and shorten your recovery time. Great job!

  • Looks like this should stretch the shoulder out good! Nice job.

  • you guys have got to see this

  • excellent device to stretch internal rotation.
