I too want debate as I think there is bullshit from both sides but I honestly and genuinly believe that Lord Monckton did a lot of damage to the sceptical arguments surrouning climate change. Very much an own goal which is unfortunate as I feel it will make many people take those with a sceptical point of view less seriously as a result and narrower range of opnions will be heard. His speech was more akin to something out of Jeeves and Wooster or Little Britain. Sad but that's my take :(
