Thank you for making these videos available to us all and not charging stupid prices for DVD's and such. I love these video tutorials and am currently eating up the lighting ones.
Thanks for these videos, they are all awesome..very helpful. I feel I am in a room learning with others from your lectures. Keep posting.
Btw, I use a 50D Canon and Aperture 3 to edit pictures. I tried printing some photos and they came out pixelated..bad resolutions. Hope you can come up with a video about how post-processing and how can I prepare my photos if i like to print them , say 8x10 size or even bigger for wall presentation.
could anyone help me for this. im planning to buy lens but i dont know which one to go., which one do you think is better for me like a beginner is it 50mm 1.4g nikon or 24-80mm 2.8 sigma? i'd like to take shots for group and some portrait., is sigma good also? hope someone could help me thanks....
This maybe a silly question, when you are working in the studio do you turn off the ambient lights and only use the light from your studio lighting equipment?
@MrBossyboots Thats sad. maybe you should just be happy with staring at your wall full of photos of Mark and news clippings that you have in your basement.
@MrBossyboots Hi. I get many e-mails and unfortunately I can't respond to all of them individually. What was your question? I don't know which one is yours because your profile has no information. How can I help you out?
As a newbie photographer, I have learned so much from your series of videos. Watching you demonstrate the different lighting setups really clears up a lot of questions I had. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Nice video and good to see Sam back. But I have to say, these photographs didn't turned out to be too flattering for her. In comparison, the outdoor shoot you had done her were fantastic.
Hello. How many Watts is that first light at the begining of the video? Thanks.

Mark: With the studio type strobes, when you turn up or down the modeling light does it also change the strobes flash at the same ratio

it seems like 'closed-loop' lighting is kinda similar to 'rembrandt'. is there a difference between those 2?
alifridzuan1 6 months ago
@alifridzuan1 rembrant has a more defined triangle shape to it, they can look very similar.

mark i took notice that u r using Nikon rather then Canon..... why?
waseem5420288 6 months ago
@waseem5420288 Because the industry standard for professional photography is Nikon, like the D3 series.
entouchgraphics 6 months ago
@waseem5420288 I've noticed in these videos that Mark shoots both Canon and Nikon but it's tough to do both at the same time.
