I've never heard that floor signal before....and for some reason I thought those were modernized by Schindler. The direction chime sounds like Schindler.

@TheToploaderwasher D-C arent really a generic company they are well know here in Kentucky where I live but all the ones in my that I have rode dont have that loud whistle sound on the floor indicator D-C is really popular in Kentucky I havent rode any here at this university but the ones I have rode are good Abell elevators are the only elevator made in KY so there is quite of few of them I would say a long with dover/tk and otis

in lexington ky though where there is a D.C. company a hospital called central baptist has a lot of D.C. elevators some were installed by them and some were modernized and none of them have that floor passing sound

Valves have been replaced. A replacement of the valves causes the motor to sound different.

i dont live far from the DC elevator company i have never heard them use that floor changer sound before all i have ever heard was a beep

That's what the indicators on the old elevators at the Embassy Suites Columbia sounded like. They used to be Dover, but now they were removed and replaced by KONE.

Nice elevator, and I like the motor sound, but nothing as nice as the original. Also, this would have been better if this has the Dover BUZZ or Dog Whistle, along with green LED up arrow.

They didn't do a good job of adding a nicer floor bell.  At lease they still did a good job and left the mechanical bits untouched. It has a cool motor noise!
