@DenzelRealm You need OFW 5.03. This video is outdated for new PSPs and it doesn't work on the PSP Go. I forgot to change the title.

@porscheguy16 You can download homebrew from sites like pspslimhacks[dot]com and put the entire folder into MS0/PSP/Games. The folder will usually consist of an eboot and one other file (sometimes just an eboot). Just make sure you unzip them first.

Sorry man, the HEN won't work on 5.50, if you can find a way to make it work (try google, but i doubt it), the CFW enabler will work on any 2000.

@Chdonga You MUST be running a firmware ranging from 5.00 to 5.03 (it will work best on 5.03) otherwise, it won't work.

@ULTRAsoulBRAWLER The problem is when I try to install the firmware it thinks it's an update and says that it doesn't need the update.

@Chdonga Then chances are you are running a higher firmware than 5.03. You should go check what firmware you are running. Last time I checked, there is an exploit being worked on for firmware 5.50 so if that's the firmware you are running then I highly recommend you do not update if you want to be able to hack your PSP.

Also, if you are running a PSP GO! there is no current exploit for it.

Do you know if there's a way I can downgrade it or whatever to get it to run.

Updating means updating the firmware. Firmware = software the PSP runs on. Sadly there is no way to downgrade the PSP unless you have a PSP 200x (the fat model that first came out).
