Actually, the more I listen to this, the more closely I can see that the intro to this song really resembles Abba's "Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight)". That's really interesting and I hadn't noticed it before.

Abba was my first thought when i heard this record (the whole album, not just this track) - and that was before i knew he was Swedish. There's a definite similar feel - a mastery of pop hooks. Not that that takes anything away from Salem al Fakir. Every artist has his influences.

Genius - Salem masters mixing the genre's and still making it original and new, I love this song and all of his others, I think even if you don't like this genre of music, you can't not listen to his songs.
