  • Windows only! Bullshit

  • how did you control the car

  • @mrnerfdude9 Functions just like a plane

  • also, what resolution do you run the game at?

  • @supersaintsfan31, in this clip I ran it at 1680x1050 but now run 1920x1080 on my 26".

  • @flyboyandre *sigh* yea i have a 24 inch with 1920x1080 resolution, and it runs maybe 17 fps, and i cant stand it, so i run it at 1024x768 with max settings and get 40 fps, visual quality is a litle down, but oh well, what are your specs?

  • @supersaintsfan31, they're listed on my channel my friend :)

  • @flyboyandre oh boy! i just ordered a lenovo with a 2.33 ghz quad core and 8 gigs ram XD!!!

  • hey, so i just bought this plane, and i was wondering are there updates for it or anything? thanks!

  • @supersaintsfan31, updates are released as they come but if you just purchased it I would assume that it's current until you receive an e-mail from Tom at X-Scenery.

  • @flyboyandre do you get emails when theres updates?

  • @supersaintsfan31, yes they're very good guys.

  • The hold short line is backwards, but other than that, cool vid. : P Like.

  • where do you download your freeware from?

  • @supersaintsfan31, typically x-plane(dot)org. The plane in this clip though is payware.

  • @flyboyandre whats the best heavy jet that has a 3d cockpit that you know of? thanks!

  • @supersaintsfan31, check out Peter Hager's aircrafts.

  • @flyboyandre can i get a link for that plz?

  • @supersaintsfan31, search google. He's got both A330/340 and A380 versions.

  • @flyboyandre thoes look cool but i heard they dont have a VC. Know of any good payware planes with a VC? Thanks

  • They do indeed have a VC. Don't listen to people who don't know what they're talking about my friend.

  • @flyboyandre Alrighty! Thank you very much sir. I will look into those. I also made sure to subscribe :)

  • what plane? and what computer was this on? will graphics be that good as a stock mac osx?

  • @chris5812341234, plane in the link. Specs are on my channel.

  • @AirCanada04, why would you keep posting these comments? Have you studied x-plane at all?

  • den flyplassen er nice!!!!!!!

  • jeg har det flyet det er veldig nice

  • just a qustion how do u drive a car in x-plane also very nice video

  • Just like with airplanes you can use cars within the game. Functions the same way :)

    Thank you for your comment!

  • jævla bra :)

  • its got more realistic flight dynamics but graphics just abit better when ur looking at a plane

  • Well the gameplay and physics are more realistic.

    Also, fsx graphics are cartoon-like.

    those aren't.

  • It really depends what you mean when you say just as good. Check out my FSX vs x-plane movie and you will see a lot of comments both ways which may help you. X-Plane can be very stunning as you see from these graphics.

  • where did you get that plane?

  • Look in the info section. It's payware by x-scenery.

  • where do i find the addon

  • how do you get that hand held cam effect

  • It's a default camera option called free camera I believe.

  • how do i get free cam do i just go to cam options or something

  • It's one of your camera options in the top menu.

  • thanks

  • keep an eye out for jrollon(I think that is him, google "x-plane crj-200 project")) and his aircraft, they are all stunning and he is soon releasing a new crj-200 with a 3d-cockpit that you would swear came from PMDG! all for X-plane, I can't wait!

  • Sounds exciting. Thanks for giving me the heads up!

  • Hello, X-Plane is pretty good. Anyways, are Peter's Aircraft good for XP9? I saw some screenshots and they look beautiful.

  • I purchased the A340 from Peter and it's ok. I've become spoiled with MSFS third party add-ons. The MU-2 in this clip is certainly above everything else I've seen for x-plane in regards to payware. However, most MSFS payware is very expensive $30+ while Peter's A340 was like $13. I guess you get what you pay for :)

  • I see. What about scenery? I saw XP9 videos with fly tampa scenery and I can't find anything for XP9.

  • You can actually convert some of the FS2004 sceneries into x-plane by using a free plug in. The flytampa sceneries for FS2004 looks to convert ok

  • Thanks

  • lol x plane uses fs 2004 scenery ... im an fsx player althoug x plane looks pretty good. nice vid ill give you 5*

  • The scenery in this movie is not a FS2004convertion.

    Thanks for the rating.

  • ok cool soz about mocking x plane in anyway it looks good and again nice vid

  • Thanks man!

  • flight simulator x is good for graphics (if you can support it) but the xplane graphics are right up there too. they are both good. i personally use fsx (i bought it first) but xplane is a more accurate simulation. fsx uses presets and values to determine its flight characteristics. xplane uses an aerofoil simulation to acuratley determine how the plane will fly in realtime. so xplane is more accurate for real pilots fsx is good for the hobbyist.

  • would you recommend this for x-plane or the level d 767

    for fsx?

  • I would recommend both the MU-2 for X-plane AND the Level-D 767 for FSX/FS2004. They're both really nice airplane packages.

  • sounds like a 90's porn shoot.

  • Ok. Was that all you could muster for comment?

  • Yes.

  • wich do u prefer

    x plane

    or fsx

    wich has better effects

    and water detail ect?

    thanks alot

and great move i loved it

  • I use them both. Actually I prefer FS2004, FSX and X-plane for different reasons. All of them have been discussed in this and other x-plane clips I have posted. Look at the x-plane vs FSX clip.

  • x-plane sux dude FSX all the way (as long as you have the computer for it LOL)

  • Why does it suck? I don't see many movies on your channel to prove what you're saying. Don't throw around judgements without having anything to base it on.

  • Do xplanes have a virtual cockpit like fsx?

  • depends on the plane. this one does have a VC and a cabin view. However, the planes are generally much better in MSFS than x-plane. This plane is amazing though both from an internal and external point of view. Nearly everything is modeled.

  • Hey andre what's up...this is cptsullenberger from x-plane forums :P awesome video. Yours along with Olahardor's vid convinced me that my 30 bucks won't go down the drain and boy was I right!

So when are you going to shoot the reenactment of sullenberger's heroic landing on the hudson river? :P

  • Hey man!

There have been so many 1549 re-enactments already that I feel the topic is used up :)

However, I can tell you that noone can do Sullenberger and his crew the proper justice by making a FS movie of the heroic act they put together. Simply amazing!!!!

The MU-2 is nice, isn't it? I am actually going to make another film the next few days with it. It's such a great plane to fly.

  • I thought Ben Supnik only did XSB and some small developers tools, is he behind the coding too?

  • Really, really nice video! Thanks for share it in HD! 5*

  • x-plane dont look to bad, iv always thought 3 year old's designed x-plane

  • What do you base those comments on? It's actually got more realism in the Airplane part like turbulence, etc than MSFS. I like them all and I was shocked by the quality of X-Plane when I finally gave it a shot. Don't judge by the films you see on youtube as many of them are uploaded with no thought to quality and what x-plane really has to offer.

  • and thats what i said, the word you missed out on my previous comment "thought"

  • The developers are amazing. I actually made a recommendation via e-mail to the creator and the change will be implemented in the next update (9.30). Being able to communicate directly with developers and for them to actually care about your recommendation is pretty darn cool.

If you want to learn more about the people behind this simulator look up Austin Meyer, Randy Witt and Ben Supnik in Google. You will find them as HUGE aviation enthusiasts. X-Plane is used in REAL simulators as well.

  • great vid 4* what aircraft is that and is it freeware or payware and where can i get it??

  • The Aircraft is payware from x-scenery. It's the Mitsubishi Marquise MU-2b.

Please understand that this is not FSX or FS2004. This movie is made in X-Plane 9 by Laminar Research.

  • Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments!

  • great vid andre!!!!!!!

  • veldig bra film med bra musikk og fint lite fly

  • Wow... Looks great! I'm thinking of getting X-plane. I hear the download is huge, how big is the file?

  • I don't know exactly how big it is as the game comes in a box on 1 DVD and is accompanied by 5 extra DVD's with world scenery. Currently sells for $40 but I hear the price is going back up to $59 again. At either price, it's a great deal. What you see in my videos is all stock except from the freeware Airports and the Payware MU-2.

  • superb!

  • very beautiful!!!

  • Well done Andre. You're catching on quick. What to do, have you tried the water landing yet? Set wave height to 0 on the environment tab though. Beautiful music in this one, the plane part. hehe.

  • Are you saying that my rugged fisherman pilot and airplane owner has bad taste of music with Metallica playing in his Landrover? LOL

  • You did it again, exelent quality movie.

Very nice. thank you for sharing your movies.

  • Hehe, It's almost like an addiction doing this one a day thing :)

However, my creative juices are disappearing.

I NEED HELP OF WHERE TO FLY AND WHAT TO DO IN THESE X-PLANE MOVIES :)

  • try a cross america trip in one it would be tough but worth it LOL
