Today's young hippies actually are stuck in a fixed ideology, they are fashioning themselves to a particular decade, the hippies. They aren't allowing the natural process to happen to create thier own way, their own revolution. That's why more youth don't join in, hippie doesn't speak to our generation at large. It's a big problem at the universities.

i'm actually a political and community organizer. I was about 20 years old (2003) I dropped out of college organizing to stop Bush. Today's young hippies actually are stuck in a fixed ideology, they are fashioning themselves to a particular decade, the hippies. They aren't allowing the natural process to happen to create thier own way, their own revolution. That's why more youth don't join in, hippie doesn't speak to our generation at large. It's a big problem at the universities.
