Greetings from Finland! I have also made a bodhran tipper for a musician friend of mine, mead (a traditional drink around 1st of May here), and cider. Now I have my second ever batch fermenting in the refrigerator, it will take some time I figure.

@32bituser I'm a little slow to reply - it went well!!! I made two tippers and one is my primary - made of olive wood.
