What are you talking about, Bolt has never run a 9.67 or faster. Tyson Gay still has the fastest time for a human. But the wind was over the limit. But I will say that Bolt possibly gave up a 9.55 by cruising the last 15m.

you dont get out much do you? Bolt's olympic time was assessed by hundreds of people..checkout sportsscince website. the best he couldve done was a 9.63. BUT, that was a 9.63 with zero wind. Another piece of science for you is the conversions of all times and world class athlete's wind adjustments. The result is that its generally accepted that 1 m/s/100m of wind = 0.03s for a 5'10" athlete. more for taller athletes.

So, a 9.68 with 4m/s tail is 9.8 still conditions. His 9.77 was arguably better

i need to skool you some more as your type really irritates me..going off all half cocked with BS ignorance. Obadele Thompson ran 9.69 with 5m/s way back in the day, and Carl Lewis ran a supposed 9.78 with 4m/s. Carl eventually ran a legal 9.86 but it was 1.7m/s and Obadele a similar time.

Gay's best adjusted 100m time to still conditions is still 9.8 or so. A far cry from a still and slowing down 9.69seconds.

in 100m, thats daylight.

4m/s wind + Beijing Bolt = 9.69-0.06-0.12 = 9.51.

Last time I checked he ran a legal 9.77 despite easing up the last few meters just as Bolt did, and how did that school me? Was that supposed to show me that other sprinters have run faster wind aided times? It didn't would because you didn't give me a time less then 9.68 in your school lesson, your a bad teacher. As I said, Gay still has the fastest times in any conditions. Which I respect as someone who does this event and doesn't just leave cocky little comments.

Yes, the fact is true, Tyson Gay was on steriods in COLLEGE, although he did come clean in the Olympics and the Trials. Arkansas will be robbed of two national titles when Gay was in college. I don't trust many of the sprinters at the olympic trials right now, many of them just happen to get PBs. A good amount ran in the sub 10's for the first time ever, can you say steroids?

And many of them have been running 10.2's and other low 10's travis padgett has broken 10 before. Martin might be a supsect though. his previous best was 10.14. williams had ran a 10.04. jelks a 10.2 not to far fetched.

Icecoldhard, i seriously doubt bolt and powell eased up with a whole 40 yards left to go. Even with their speed they would have gotten caught easing up that early. Tyson eased up with a good 10 to 15 meters to go and theres no doubt he probably would have broke the record if he had gone through strong.
