My son who suffers from Mental Illness gets through the day by the inspiration of Josh Groban's songs. When he first became ill we went to a concert in Las Vegas and to You Raise Me Up he cried. From that day on he sings it to get past the torture and fear of his illness. Josh thank you as you have trully added to my wonderful son's way back and encourage him though your words. ehhh, this sounds so outdated and bland. I doubt the radio will play it at all.

It's admirable that Josh is always trying new things and all that, but I don't think he's been successful ever since he left the Closer sound. So far Closer is still the highlight of his music. He sounds much more convincing doing neo-classic than writing his own "pop" songs.

In the past, innovation decided the direction of music, but now record companies are applying the cookie-cutter model because all they care about is money.
