Yes, it has become more conservative in conjunction with marriage mania. In my opinion, Log Cabin Republican (bourgeois?) folks have traded the creative and free spirit of our gay community for good old 'traditional family values' in order to get equal property rights. However, life is a process, not a perfect reality, so we have set precedent for an overall improvement in human rights here. I will take the good with the boring.
