I was behind the stage at Lakewood Amphitheatre in 1995 for the Promised Land concert and listened to sound check. His voice was all you could hear. It was amazing. I was also front row center at the show that night. He sounded amazing. Every bit as good as he does on the albums. Perhaps Coldmystery just happened to see him when he was a little off.

What pisses me off is when they get these R&B singers to do the anthem at events and they all go into the "moaning whore vocals" for 5 minutes straight. \

I've always felt that each nationality that lives with in the United States should be allowed to interpret the national anthem however they see fit.
