The reason I never saw this, even though I like Zack Synder's other movies, is that it's clear that there is no reality to any of the action. Fine for a surrealist movie, but in an action movie if the action is all fantasy then there are no consequences to the action. Who cares if you get shot or stabbed in a fantasy? It doesn't matter. So the fighting has no sense of danger, it looks cool but there is not excitement. My guess is everyone else stayed away for the same reason.

They have all the good element...maybe it is over designed but it's the world of imagination to escape, being free in reality, so what was wrong with it? I still say this movie was one of the greatest movie, and it does take some balls to release something like this.

Look at some old WW2 footage of Moscow during raids or even D-day footage. Maybe they cant be classified as zeppelins, but blimps and balloons were effectively used both by Allies and Germans for reconnaissance and anti air-raid measures. Also in the beginning of WW2 a lot of Russian air force consisted of biplanes.

That was one of the primary WW2 weapons for infantry for both Soviet and German side - G98, The M1891 carbine, sporting the fixed bayonet, Mosin-Nagant 1891/30, M1903 Springfield etc,etc. Russians effectively utilized M1910 7.62 Maxim heavy machine gun which was water cooled through the whole WW2. And obviously gas masks were used in WW2 as well.

@LeSedici Let me give you a small lesson in history while we at it. First of all all these things that you qualified as = WWI, just as well existed in WW2. Look at some old WW2 footage of Moscow during raids or even D-day footage. Maybe they cant be classified as zeppelins, but blimps and balloons were effectively used both by Allies and Germans for reconnaissance and anti air-raid measures. Also in the beginning of WW2 a lot of Russian air force consisted of biplanes.

@LeSedici What do you think that in WW2 trenches werent used? You think they didnt have bolt action rifles with fixed bayonets? That was one of the primary WW2 weapons for infantry for both Soviet and German side - G98, The M1891 carbine, sporting the fixed bayonet, Mosin-Nagant 1891/30, M1903 Springfield etc,etc. Russians effectively utilized M1910 7.62 Maxim heavy machine gun which was water cooled through the whole WW2. And obviously gas masks were used in WW2 as well.

Why do they have so much make up on in a metal institution? That makes no sense. Also, if Nazis being killed indiscriminately that can mean only one thing - probably a Jew directed this movie. Because a Jew directed this move, it is made up of buncha concepts ripped off from other movies, books and games and merged together to make this atrocity of a movie. Why? Because the Jews don't have their own creativity or imagination, they can only work around concepts created by others.
