Onkyo TX-SR505 Home Theater Receiver breakdown

Can someone help me with this damn thing? Ever since I got it I noticed that the settings were under parenthesis marks, meaning I can't access them. I've tried MULTIPLE hard/soft resets and nothing works. There is no obvious "unlock" feature in the setup/options menu. How the fucking shit do I unlock this thing so I can access the Speaker config, and other menus?

Great reciever man, i've got the TX-SR705 and it works perfectly fine!

also i still have another Onkyo receiver which is the TX-SV717PRO. well it's old and still works great!

Great receiver man, I've got the 606 myself. Onkyo receivers kick ass! It drives my big Cerwin Vega tower perfectly!

hey,man good job describing your ONKYO I have a onkyo txds 787 and love it but does NOT have HDMI hook up it's a 6.1 surround.

you do have a AWSOME subwoofer Klipsh it is the best , I have a klisph speakers 6 of them and i love them.. keep sending your video ...good job

Very bad position for your subwoofer, its too close to the wall. It should be away 1/4 from both walls unless you wanna have a lot of reflections fucking up your bass.

Anyway, back to topic, i like this receiver a lot thanks for uploading your video.

Hey can you help meh with my receiver it is the same as yours. Okay my problem is that I have my 360 set up through HDMI but only my front 2 speakers work what did I do wrong?

You may have your receiver set on mono which only put out two channels. If you have an xbox 360 connected through hdmi, you should program your receiver to PLX game which is suited just for video games
