ARG. ive been trying to find out if you can smoke weed with thrips. Since they feed off the leaves and such; if you pulled the whole plant out roots and all and dried it for a month or three it would -hypotheticly- kill all the green eating fuckers

I got springtail infestation in my tent. The tiny buggers jump all over the place, but they seem to gravitate towards water. I put a bowl of boiling water in the middle of my plants one day (partly as an experiment to try and raise the humidity. Low hum. is a cronic problem here in Norway) and the next day there were hundreds of the bastards floating around dead in the water.

I put up a cadre of yellow fly paper in and under the foliage for extra measure.

they probably came in with my soil.

If the little bugs jump and gather around water in groups they can also be springtails (they look like little flees) organic sprays kill thrips but springtails just keep cleanin tbe water off ground they and lower humidity theyll be harmless

are the spots ash like? I think i have some on my hydrangeas but i thought someone threw ash on my plants for a while or it flew from my neighbours incense. my plants have a lot of fast moving and flying small black bugs now. Is this the same kind?

ahh fuck..had the same problem,keep em under 15 degrees for 2 nights and spray it one or max. 2 times the most of these bastards will be gone after.

Im growing cannabis and i have a serious slug problem i cant seem to get rid of them. I only have 1 plant left as they munched on the others and killed them. im soo fucking pissed off with it but does anyone know how to get rid of them and stop them eating my plants i have now put a big pile of salt down around the edge of the pot on top od rough stones but they are still getting in so does anyone have any advice on how to stop them.

i had loads hanging up drying few yrs back that had spider mite all over them, potentially ruining a huge crop, didn't want to spray chemicals on it, so i ran out and bought a chest freezer, lightly bagged it up and deep froze it for a week. they just disappeared, dont know whether they retreated inside the buds or migrated off the buds to escape the cold, but it worked, couldnt find em afterwards. has to be cold though, those little bastards are resilient.

I just started planting my first two babies 3 days ago.

But i was wondering if you could help me with a little problem? I want to grow healthy and good cannabis and im thinking about the air that my plants are getting, im planting in my attic (top floor) and im having all my windows open but alot of people say "you need fans to keep your plants growing!"... Is this true? Do i really need fans? Thanks :-)

He Eric! ik heb een vraag: ik heb mijn planten buiten staan en 1 van de planten begint raar te doen. Al de jonge bladeren krijgen gele punten en de randen van die bladeren beginnen licht op te krullen...ik vermoedt een soort van nutrienten te kort maar weet dit niet zeker...ik geef ze al voeding maar het schijnt niet te helpen.... weet jij toevallig wat hier aan de hand is?

I hate these thrips, I haven't seen any real damage on cannabis but they devastated some the leaves of my courgette plants which are outside

I've got a question and I can't find the answer on the internet. When you grow a plant, is it possible to 'harvest' it and still continue growing it? Or do you just take the whole plant out?

@burt2800 You can havest parts of the plant that are ready for it and later harvest other parts. But, after you harvest a certain part no new buds will be formed. So, at a certain point the whole plant will be harvested and you need to grow a new plant.

@burt2800 & @PiratesCannabean Not entirely true.. Its not quick and I wouldnt recommend it, but you can cut the plant down to about 1/3 of its size (my way of doing it, not sure if anyone else agrees) crop the buds and put the plant immediately back into veg.

After a week or two the plant will begin to enter its vegetative state again.

@burt2800 I just googled "cannabis reveg" and thousands of topics... to put it simply,  you put the plant into 24 hour lighting, so some trimming, leave a few leaves on, and itl be growing in veg again in 30 days... really look it up and read, because there are alot of small things.
