I just received this unit, it works on the FM side but when I plug the charger portion in it locks my, wifes and son's phone. Now I don't know if this is coincidence or not but my alternater on my truck just packed it in. I've called their 1-800 several times and it's always got a busy signal and when I call long distance direct I get voice mail that is not capable of taking messages?????? WTF It didn't take long to accept my money and ship it but where is "customer service"??????????

at least I found the exact same one on ebay for 12 bucks
knock off or not it came with remote and it fit the cigarette lighter like a charm and no beeps and remote works awesome because not all of us has long ass arms to scroll through music .....

Hi i have purchased this product about 1 month ago from Canadian Tire. it sounds really good but I'm having one issue with it. I plug it into my 2004 vw golf and sometimes i can't play music on it, it only shows that the battery is charging ?

This item seem great at first. However. I don't know about others, but for me, when i put my iphone in the holder, it becomes VERY TOP heavy and won't stay plugged into the cigarette lighter. It doesn't fall out of the lighter itself, but comes out enough to no longer provide power to the device. Also, with navigation apps, i.e. TomTom or Navigon....the app won't work because it loses it's GPS signal when plugged into this cradle.

I just bought one today. It doesn't fit the cigarette lighter hole properly. It keeps sliding around and it's freaking annoying. I had to stuff a rubber band and a piece of paper in there to keep it still.
@taufoofar - look at your actual adapter to see if that spins, thats usually the case, if not then try electrical tape around it and then slide it in.
Hi mate....its working good for listening music and hands free talking. BUT I can not use the GPS in the car when it is attached i.e. its charging. Its saying poor GPS signal. while in the same time GPS signal is good if it doesnt connected. Seems to be strange problem. do have any tips??

This device probably has the most feature compare to other available FM transmitters in the price range. However, don't buy it because the quality is not good. Cheap plastic and the stand don't work well. NOT recommended!!

The downside is that the iPhone holder has huge magnet inside which interferes with the GPS. So when the iPhone is placed on the holder, TomTom GPS navigation system will not work.

The biggest question for me! Ok, usually I use my 3gs as gps. And while I`m listening to usual radio or HD, I can't hear incoming call ringing, because the sound goes through fm transmitter and my phone is ringing on other frequency I'm not listening to! How to switch fm-transmitting off??
@2ndserenade - yes actually, not for calls, but if you are listnening to music and they have it on the same station as you which is very rare because why would someone have it on 88.5 or 88.7 (low budget stations for example) then your music would play in their cars...lol, its a very powerful FM transmitter.
I bought this product....and it works great...but in time the goose neck gets loose at the car lighter attachment and it starts falling allover the place. There is no easy access to repair it without damaging it. So like someone earlier said...beware

I bought this product for my iPhone 3GS. It does work, but the gooseneck REALLY SUCKS! If you don't have a cig lighter that is "just right", the entire unit will fall over on a regular basis.

This device is amazing. I received mine today and it really impressed me with good quality and ease of use. The only thing thats difficult is trying to find a radio station with vacant frequencies so that the sound comes in clear. If you hate storing countless amounts of CD's in your car and want to have your music in one place, I highly recommend that you buy this!!

It's funny you ask this question i was going to ask the exact same thing. I have a Switcheasy Capsule Neo and Rebel; i'm currently using the Neo on my Iphone 3g. If this thing can hold the phone WITH the case, I will order it ASAP.
If not then i guess i'm out of luck because it looks really convenient lol. Also i want to know how well the wireless remote works with this thing, there's a few bundles of this product that include the remote has anybody tried it??
Not sure what case you have , but I have a thin silicone case (Caselogic) on my iphone and it fits perfectly in the base of the fm transmitter (just adjust from open position to close 1 click or so). So basically if you have a thin case it should fit nicely. Good luck!
I just purchased this hands-free hoping it would be as good as shown and was pleasantly surprised!! Hands-free calling with great audio (no beeps) AND I can listen to my ipod. Genius. Does the handsfree not work through the bottom port? That little cable looks unneccesary, easily lost and like its going to be pain in the ace to find everytime you want to listen to the ipod function. The biggest question for me! Ok, usually I use my 3gs as gps. And while I`m listening to usual radio or HD, I can't hear incoming call ringing, because the sound goes through fm transmitter and my phone is ringing on other frequency I'm not listening to! How to switch fm-transmitting off??

@2ndserenade - yes actually, not for calls, but if you are listnening to music and they have it on the same station as you which is very rare because why would someone have it on 88.5 or 88.7 (low budget stations for example) then your music would play in their cars...lol, its a very powerful FM transmitter.

I bought this product....and it works great...but in time the goose neck gets loose at the car lighter attachment and it starts falling allover the place. There is no easy access to repair it without damaging it. So like someone earlier said...beware

I bought this product for my iPhone 3GS. It does work, but the gooseneck REALLY SUCKS! If you don't have a cig lighter that is "just right", the entire unit will fall over on a regular basis.

can you tell me what u mean by a slight beep. For the first half of the vid, u said there are no beeps because they are only present in the knockoff versions. Why would this beep? How would i be able to turn the beep off (without disconnecting my music, which would defeat the purpose for me)?

This device is amazing. I received mine today and it really impressed me with good quality and ease of use. The only thing thats difficult is trying to find a radio station with vacant frequencies so that the sound comes in clear. If you hate storing countless amounts of CD's in your car and want to have your music in one place, I highly recommend that you buy this!!

i have one of these things the only thing that sucks is that it can fit iphones or ipods with thin cases if u have a fat case it probally can fit depending on how fat it is sometimes it wont fit but if its hard to fit in dont shove it in, its not that good for the device but anyways its a awesome device its really clear on my cars speakers and so are the phone calls, but i heard when its plugged in big cars like vans its not that good on sound quality but anyways this device is awesome

It's funny you ask this question i was going to ask the exact same thing. I have a Switcheasy Capsule Neo and Rebel; i'm currently using the Neo on my Iphone 3g. If this thing can hold the phone WITH the case, I will order it ASAP.
If not then i guess i'm out of luck because it looks really convenient lol. Also i want to know how well the wireless remote works with this thing, there's a few bundles of this product that include the remote has anybody tried it??

Not sure what case you have , but I have a thin silicone case (Caselogic) on my iphone and it fits perfectly in the base of the fm transmitter (just adjust from open position to close 1 click or so). So basically if you have a thin case it should fit nicely. Good luck!

I just purchased this hands-free hoping it would be as good as shown and was pleasantly surprised!! Hands-free calling with great audio (no beeps) AND I can listen to my ipod. Genius. Easy to use, great price and once you find the right station...perfect audio! I am going to get more for all the iphone users of the house before they take mine :)

Does the handsfree not work through the bottom port? That little cable looks unneccesary, easily lost and like its going to be pain in the ace to find everytime you want to listen to the ipod function.
