That's true! Kobe rarely goes out and just works on his game, he doesn't care about all that other stuff. Even if LeBron did have the desire he's not clutch, not a good defender, and I think the holes in his game get covered up with him being able to drive to the basket a lot. Their's also no better two-way player than Kobe, the only other player that can challenge Kobe a little is D-Wade but he's not really a lockdown defender. Kobe can lock someone up and still score 30 unlike anyone else.
