IF your hair turns green when you dye it blue that means that there was still yellow in your hair from bleaching.

From my experience..

If you bleach your hair before dying it whatever color, the color usually fades into a different color.. but in the end it won't go back to your natural hair color.

@HaveFunXB that's normal, it's because it's a SEMI permanent hair color. I suggest using darker colored towels and wearing darker clothes for the time being. don't want your clothes getting stained either

@ZeldaLoveXD there is a hair dye called Majicontrast which is £10. I dunno if it's available everywhere but it is In the Uk but all you need is the peroxide for it which is a big bottle for like £5. But it works really well dyed my black/brown hair red and worked pretty well :D

there is another way that you dont have to bleach your hair to make colors appear brighter. you can actually heat up the colors to make the color appear more vibrant.

@ZeldaLoveXD .Hi,well first thing i have experienced this so yeah..well first of yes you have to bleach your hair and it has to be a very light color,when i did it myself my hair wasnt to light (kinda orangesh blonde)so when i went it to paint it blue it was kinda blue but when i took a shower it went green!it was horrible!i reccomend you to get it bleached profesianly;)if you notice in her hair at the end its kinda grren in a spot so yep you do have to get it bleached to a very light color.

@XxTivonaxX some unnatural hair dyes like this this also have a slight lighting product in it as well so that it can also be used on dark hair and still give vibrant results...u should try using Stargazer hair dye rather than Manic Panic :)
