that's fox playing drums he was one of a kind about placing his snar drumb on 35 degree slant for a slide rythm check out some old live gang you will see.
It's funny just because hip hop is popular people think there are no good rock bands out there.HELLO there are hundreds of bands making this kind of music today.Too many to names to name./STONER ROCK- HELLO Power METAL HELLO_Go watch a Hellacop ters video Fireball Ministry- video.- Witchcraft-Heaven and Hell-Backyard Babies-Sword-Monster Magnet-Primal Fear-Firewind-I could go on for days! @TheJetfighter666 I'm 56, and the best concert I've EVER seen was in Lincoln, Nebr in '74.....Joe Walsh with his band Barnstorm. But....I would agree with what you've said here....at least Monster Magnet is one tough band. I've been surprised that they've not gotten bigger. Touch as nails. Joel in Tucson
exept ones like miranda cosgrove, who cant sing, but since their popular, lets make it so they can. i hate people who get their voice from robots *cough* jen mccurdy *cough cough*
@whitmike The vocalizer is one of the most important pieces of equipment the the studio these days. None of these pitiful kids can sing without it. Put's 'em right on key. I hate the thing.
Freakin' awesome, man! I don't think these guys get the recognition they deserve these days, especially considering how much people still talk about other great bands of the era. I wanted to go to one of these shows so bad, but they were all 21+ :(
Hey I was at this same show and unexpectedly ran into my cousin and his wife there at intermission! By this song I had made my way to the foot of the stage and got some decent video using my digital camera. Would be nice to edit these two together :-) Remember how bad the rain was that night and lots of streets were flooded and I almost couldn't get to the venue!
MikeMiheli, I prefer the Euro bands like Purple, Sabbath, Maiden, Rainbow, Priest, Scorpions, etc., even some of todays Black Metal bands like Emporor, COB, Bathory, but yeah I agree GFR should not be forgotten. The other two you mention get plenty of mainstream media hype, especially the latter (partly for political reasons), so I wouldn't worry about them. And like the Euro bands (except Zep, Beatles, Stones) despite their quality never have gotten enough media hype, neither has the J. Gang.
I saw them in Dallas and what a show but you know he tore it up in Cleveland. I wondered if his friend Michael Stanley showed up at his show. This video is great Thanks for sharing it with us
It's to bad they never were to popular. I went to their show in Cleveland and they were awsome. They should get together and put out like a live album or dvd or something.
Joe was a way underrated talent just as the James Gang was an underrated power trio. Walsh's guitar playing on "Yer Album" was as good as anybody around at that time. I never get tired of listening to the first two James Gang albums. Would love to see more of this show!

was the original drummer at this show? Hard to tell. He hit everything at once in the day. Black rimmed glasses and all..

it'll never continue but joe should just keep playing w/ this rhythm section because they are the bees knees. Jim Fox is killer.
