If you notice, out of everyone that was cheering there wasn't one person over the age of 20. They were no older than 10 years old when it started. This is the future?! We've brought up another generation of bigoted racists who want to join their military just to kill people of a certain race or culture. And they do it under the guise of national pride and revenge of the death of their comrades. Congratulations to the owners of this country. Mission almost accomplished. You get what you pay for.
I agree 100% we all just played into there little game.THATS WHAT THEY WANT US 2 DO ITS REACT!!!! JUST ANOTHER DISTRACTION TO KEEP US BLIND TO THE BIGGER PICTURE OF LIFE.
This was because of the whole birth certificate issue with Obama. He is not a legal president because he was not born in the US. After years of questioning he finally released a birth certificate that is obviously a forgery, so they killed Osama as a showing of force to try to sway public opinion and drive us further towards Global war. Impeach the president and they try to bring on a race war. Divide and concur, a common world domination tactic. We are being enslaved.
Osama Bin Laden was a CIA operative who defended our interests against the Russians invading Afghanistan? People really need to wake up and understand the FED doesn't have our backs. Furthermore, Bin Laden was dead long ago, SEEK REAL KNOWLEDGE. Lastly, killing people is not a reason to celebrate ever. It's sad we have to kill each other and cheer, period.
To see the truth is not popular. To live the truth you are not seen, as it is your truth and not popular. but you are known to be true. By those who know you. This is a value and teaching that takes time and guidance. Its not on the news or in our schools. It is available though. Death of one and is his death worth the 1 million deaths in Iraq? Thousadns of innocents in Pakistan already? What a price to feel good about your leaders and their lies.
Exactly, and it shows the need of th americans and weaker cultures to use violence to feel powerful. Martial arts reveals this weakness to the individual and as one grows one avoids violence at all costs. But one has found his own fear and his own low self esteem behind their fear and their need to act in violence or be accepted by a group as in this video.
First of all, the people dancing in the streets on 9/11 were barbaric Palestinians. Virtual animals. Bear in mine, when they see this, they think the same thing of us. I didn't even bother watching Obama. It was staged, planned and used for political gain. In my opinion, anybody who uses another man's life for political purposes, does not deserve to live himself. This is such a non-event.
By reading the comments, it seems people STILL don't get it. It's not about revenge, it's not about celebrating over a death because *they* celebrated during 9/11, it's about our SELF. Other peoples' actions should not dictate our actions. When that happens, you are giving someone else the power to control your life.
@alansmart7 But why are we celebrating his death? Does it mean victory? Does it make 9/11 OK now? Is the world a better place?
Does this also mean that people would be OK also celebrate the assassination of George Bush, as he's ordered actions resulting in the killing of so many civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq?
if the US president were assassinated, i'm sure there would be plenty of people in other countries celebrating his death, due to all of the innocent civilians that have been lost in this war on terror...would they be wrong for doing so?
What you give out is what you get back. By their reactions to killing, Americans are alienating themselves from the rest of the world. By giving out the negative energies they only succeed in getting negative energys in return. Just look at the news footage of their reaction to the bombing of Japan at the end of WW2 where literally millions died. Nothing in the attitude of most Americans has changed. They seriously need to grow up.
yeah i agree it's kinda' sad. yeah he's dead. time to move one ppl. Most of these college kids cheering look like they were probably either babies or 10 yrs old when 9/11 happened, and yet they still need to grow-up. This form of Nationalistic celebatory crap is so dumb.
I appreciate your perspective. To respond, when Osama bin Laden organized strikes that caused for thousands of Americans to die, he transformed into a figure larger than himself; he symbolized terrorism and murder. Once known for his actions, people begin to de-humanize him. This allows people to justify inhumane acts (killing another).
Aside from that, I completely agree upon your description of patriotism. Thanks for the video.
@ SuperAE7 Maybe you shouldn't just blindly trust your government! And don't tell me you're not blindly following, because if you had done your research you would know that the media and government don't care! They want your money and that is their only motivation. They don't care about your family or your health or your job. GET OFF THE HAMSTER WHEEL and think for yourself. What do you want this world to look like? Do you enjoy war? What if they were to throw you on the front lines?
@virus1244 um why the heck would the US government release the info that he's dead if he wasn't. I'm sorry but I have a little more trust in my government than that. It would not be a public story if it were not 100% true.
@SuperAE7 The Government puts out alot of stuff that isn't true, history is filled with it. Like the Gulf of Tonkin incident for example. Its called propaganda and Governments love it. There is an election coming up and Obama wasn't doing that good, but Bin Laden's "death" whitewashed everything and people love him again. Word of advise: don't trust the Government because they don't care about you, they care about themselves and corporate interests. Wake up
This is a great video and really makes you think. When I heard the news I must say I was very happy. The question is "why are we so thrilled to hear about someones death?" I can understand that some people think that we're "insensitive monsters" and such, but this man made his purpose in life to kill innocent people, to kill YOU. We "celebrate" his death because this monster no longer walks the earth. The world is a little safer now, it really is. Is it so wrong to be happy about that?
@FonzD86 It's the death of another human being! Of course it's insensitive to be happy about that! Do you think the Iraqi citizens were rejoicing when they heard the news about thousands of Americans being killed by their people's hands? NO! They were ashamed. Just as I am to see my people celebrating death, no matter the person killed. It's about time we wake up, educate ourselves, and start being the change that this world needs to see.
@yonderco If I can find it (been looking for the past 10 min) I swear to you there's a video of people and children in the middle east celebrating in the streets when we were attacked on September 11th and they didn't look very ashamed to me. Not even joking. Now that's not to say it's ok for us to do the same, but we're "celebrating" the death of A man who wanted to destroy us, our families, and our freedom. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.
We are ALL people. Mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, cousins, friends. We all deserve to be here. Now lets start working together and stop killing each other.
@yonderco We do all deserve to be here, I totally agree with that. But some people just don't seem to understand that there are people in this world, like Bin Laden, who don't want to work with you. If you don't believe what they stand for they will kill you without hesitation. All those innocent people who have died deserved to live a longer life, but they didn't have a choice. I have no sympathy at all for Bin Laden. I celebrate his death because some of us can now live a longer one.
@FonzD86 I don't have sympathy for him either, my point is, we are no better than them for celebrating death and I think its about time we start setting a mature example. I understand he had inhumane beliefs but he is no longer a threat, or so they say, so how about we put that energy into figuring out how to move forward as human beings instead of as different nations? Please, don't waste your time finding that video, spend it on learning something about their way of life :)
@yonderco I understand a Muslims way of life if that's what you're talking about when you say "Spend it on learning about their way of life." But Bin Laden was no Muslim, any true Muslim will tell you that. His way of life was a perverted religion and based on hate towards Americans, Jews,Muslims, Christians, etc. From reading your responses I'm obviously assuming you're not like that. Killing anyone who doesn't believe in your beliefs in the name of there God is not "Their way of life" Just his
@yonderco Amen to the rest of your response. Hopefully one day the world can live as a people. Egypt set the bar on a peaceful demonstration to overthrow their government and create a democracy. I hope the world could learn from them. But ignorance and emotions will always but what most people base their actions on first.
"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr.
Excellent video! Unfortunately there are too few people who are capable of thinking like this. Personally I've given up any hope for humanity. We've been turned into ruthless, insensitive monsters and it's only a matter of time before we destroy ourselves. I think it's best to let human nature run it's course and live the best life I can under these circumstances.
You're sort of acting like Osama is a nice guy who didn't deserve death. Fact is he was the cause of THOUSANDS of deaths and tore apart cities and families. Celebrating his death is celebrating 1 less spec of evil from our planet. He was in no way shape or form a decent human being. Not to mention his death will weaken the power of terrorist - people who want to KILL others for no real reason.
I was shocked when I saw the televised reaction. I still can't believe people behaved the way they did...it deeply saddens me. Love to you, friend. There has to be some sanity left in this world and I'm grateful you posted this perspective.
