  • This guy is from Tulsa Oklahoma i belive and sorry for the bad spelling

  • Junior Brown wears GAP? Guess I'll start shopping there now.

  • fabulous.

  • Junior RULES

  • who is that super model he hired to stand next to him????

  • @jws54 it's his wife. She plays acoustic in his band

  • @drumuitar Tanya Rae Brown.

  • @davidnandavid Tanya Rae was actually a student of his, when he was teaching guitar and steel guitar on the side, I believe in Oklahoma, could be wrong on the local. Anyway things clicked, he recognized a good thing when he saw it and visa versa, they fell in love and got married. From what I understand, they are still quite happy!

  • What a fantastic ad. Junior Brown, you are brilliant.

  • This GUY is Totally Talented , and ULTRA AMAZING. JUNIOR RULES the GUIT- STEEL . Him, and Abert Lee rule in that Texas style

  • a great love

  • the coolest cat that can turn 30 seconds into an American Original....underrated and over-delivers on the music. Love it!

  • Junior is pure country, too bad artists nowadays are just crap.

  • To the rest of the world: this is what it means to be a cool American dude! Forget Michael Jackson and the foul-mouthed Rappers pretending to be musicians.

  • Venom Wearing Denim is my fav from him lol hes a cool cat

  • TO COOL, I LOVE IT!

  • This is a response to a previous commercial. It started in the 90's when everyone was saying that rap is easy. So a rapper gets on a gap commercial, does some rapping, and at the end looks in the camera and says "tell me thats easy!" So a few different musicians shot gap commercials and actually played something that took time and skill to play. I wish I could find that old commercial, but I think gap and the rest of the media burried it in fear of "embarrassing" the "artist" lol.

  • @sbumz3 Oops. It was LL Cool J on a fubu commercial. Look up LL Cool J FUBU. Now you can watch this commercial and it all makes sense. lol.

  • He is hysterically funny and such a talented musician.

  • ON FIRE JR.! COME to S.W. OHIO , N. Ky., Cinci. with a Rockabilly tour, I saw Unknown Hinson & he ripped it up too, He kinda reminds me of Jr. with there twangy picking style! Cmon' up Bro, with Hinson, Hank III & Reverend Horton Heat! PLEASE!!!?

  • The Best Guitar Player In The WORLD ! The One, The Only, Junior Brown ....

  • Backed up by his wife on rhythm guitar! Their outfit is really fun to see live! His group is hotter'n chicken snot on a mirror, but because he doesn't fit the young "pretty boy" image that the Nashville social engineering, money-centric producers of fake country want, he gets very little commercial airplay. He is just too real for the Nashville execs to deal with. Too bad, they're missing out. Same thing more or less happened to Dwight Yoakum, they couldn't deal with the "new" Bakersfield sound.

  • they don't sell them slick sharkskin suits Junior wears at the Gap.

  • So easy? For him maybe!

Tool cool for words. Wish they would do more ads like these.

  • Ya'll are fiesty!

  • He is too cool for school.. thanks for posting this.. I'm always trying to find different stuff these guys do..

  • This guy is sooo cool!

  • Jr. Brown and Marty Brown, real country, music and soul Check Marty out.

  • That was awesome!

  • Hillbillies don't shop at the Gap...they're big Wal Mart folks...Tanya is a sexy Hillbilly Gal...

  • Why do I doubt that either Junior or his wife have ever purchased anything at the Gap?

  • @bluesharpwayne it is possible, i once bought a demin western shirt at the salvation army thrift store, best fitting shirt i ever had, noticed later it had a gap tag, best 1.25$ i ever spent

  • Ahhhh...Mr. Brown and the lovely Tanya Rae...

  • t1ngley,

Just like your point of view, dipshit.

  • LOL!!!!

  • Junior, if you are listening, make a music DVD! we'd all love it!

  • How dare people on this message board slag off Junior, one of the most original and talented country artists alive today! I'm sure he's a great guy too, I think this is all a case of the green eyed monster.

  • Agreed, Guit Steel Blues is one of the sickest blues songs ever and the guy can play.

His chicken picking would put Zack Wylde to shame.

  • zak mylde chuck chuck chuck

  • @GavDuggan1983 He is awesome, my father drove his tour bus around in early 2000 I believe. We got to talk with him and hang out a few times. The bus was by Taylor Tours (T9).

  • @GavDuggan1983 True. I noticed on the Phil Demmel Demmolition V review a lot of folks were slamming the playing ability of Paul (from Guitar World), yet no one that claimed to play better could post a clip. Even though I'm not into country music you have to give credit when it is due, and Junior has earned it, cheers from Texas!

  • cool

  • Wish I was back in Texas, I miss those wide open skies.....I wanna go home... LOL - didn't anyone else remember when he was on Spongebob?!

  • You're not alone, I do too!

  • " Wish I was back in texas the ocean ain't no place for a squirrel". one of my favorite s.b. episodes

  • He's always in a COMMERCIAL!

SOMEBODY PLEASE PUT THIS GUY IN A FILM, A FULL FEATURE FILM --PLEASE!

  • I'll probably get shit for this, but I agree with ya. He was quite an incredible dick to me and my buddy years back. Still helluva guitar slinger though. It's funny to see someone else with the same opinion!

  • Saw him jamming with Jimmie Vaughan a few years back....JLV walked on stage and didn't even need to play a note.

  • Hell, half the popular athletes think they're the shit, but people still worship them.

As far as Junior, he may be an asshole, I don't know. But he has my respect as a musician. Beethoven was the biggest prick you could meet...but he could kinda write good music. LOL

  • It wouldn't be JR. without the ridiculous hat! I LOVE JR!

  • Jr Brown rocks.

  • yeah. 90's internet. you remember when that chick from superman was the world's most downloaded woman.

  • Is that Juniors' wife? SHE IS HOT!!!

  • yeah, her name is tanya rae.she is hot...

  • I had wondered if that was his wife since she always seems to be wherever he is... :)

  • @jws54 Yes, she is!

  • Like Toby Keith, but couldn't agree more, country has lost its roots. Junior Brown is freakin awesome. The guy rips up a guitar like no ones business.

  • i've just stumbled across this video... who is Junior Brown? i've never heard of him?

  • the best album he made has the My WIe THinks Your Dead tune on it. Not the live version either. Amazing sound in a good car stereo system. Also amazing is Muddy Waters -Folk SInger. What a tremendous sound on that CD.

  • Junior Brown is a country/alternative country artist. He is a country guitarist and lap steel player. He calls his instrument the guitsteel.

  • my friend paul warnik in chicago make's all his guitsteel's and i have been on his bus and had a few beer's with him,now that he got dropped by curb record's he travel's in a motor home and that is a fact.

  • Is this really country, or is it more rock-a-billy, or as I like to call it "Austin Rock"... Either way, Junior's rock just makes me wanna have a cold beer, smell a BBQ fire being made, and relax.

  • Thats it , I love JR B ..

so I am heading to the Gap, to but something

  • genxer68, i couldn't agree more. I wish all those talentless motherfuckers like toby keith with there overly commercial, overproduced glossy-sounding pop-country bullshit would crawl up a hole and die

  • Fuck all the so called NEW COUNTRY, Junior Brown is the real deal!

  • i'm a rock guitar player but this dude is bad ass !!!

  • who is that playing guitar with him?

  • That's Junior's wife, Tanya Rae.

  • thanks!

  • @laslos37 That's his wife, Tanya Rae,

  • Seems like there are so few instumental stylists left in country music. JB rocks.

  • let's go to the CONTINENTAL CLUB ON SOCO!!

  • Totally Easy for YOU, Junior! Junior Brown rules.

  • hahahaha thet theres purty funny chadchap

  • What is easy? Oh I know it's irony. It ain't easy! The jeans are made by skillful 8 year olds and the music is made by skillful 40 year olds, and they both get screwed. Instant Karma's gonna get you!

  • The Gap uses child labour in India.

  • He is to country what SRV was to the blues! I respect that. And I don't even like country... at least not what's passed off as country these days.

  • Amen to that!! Country today has forgotten where it came from.

  • I have all of Juniors CD's . He's one of the best guitarists around!

  • Yup, thats Junior and his Wife. She is his full time rythym guitarist. I love their music.

  • do us all a favor and keep the KWS ad on DVD only.

His legal department has their reasons why.

  • So are they selling the guitar, the music or the cloths.

  • Check out those sweet silverface Twins in the back!!

  • How long ago where he making his music.

  • Thanks for posting! Does anyone have the Kenny Wayne Shepherd one?!

  • I have the KWS commercial on dvd. I dont know how to upload to youtube, I would put it on if someone would tell me how

  • i love it.

  • LOL..."this is easy"...Ha! Easy for Junior Brown maybe...good luck and you go try. =)

  • Thanks for posting .. Jamison brown ... I will have to post the lipton ad soon .. thanks

  • Gram Rabbit and The 88 rock, but the GAP still sucks.

  • Nice little cover of 'Bulldog'... he does this on his live album too...

  • Nice to see "the lovely Miss Tanya Rae" as well.
