The one thing i have come to dislike about these are the headers that tie in with the hydro stat. i was operating one for the guy i work with and it took me FOREVER to finally figure it out.
@bronkstomper1 no you give foreign countrys ur grain, if u actually farm you would know that and know that deere still makes there combines right in Illinois
But I know what you mean 9500comineman, this model in the video is probably around the 270,000 range. On a side note the easy way you can tell the size of the header is count the sections, 7 sections on a 35, and 6 on a 30, 5 on a 25. Yes they still make 25 foot headers.
Which is why I said the price will vary about 20,000 more or less depending on the options you buy with it. 3,000 for Premiere cab, 2,000 for extended wear heat treated concave bars, 3,500 for the 300bu grain tank extension, and 3.3bu/sec unloading auger, 7,000 - 10,000 for duals, 20,000 for 4wd 2speed rear axle. I just gave a ballpark figure, if you got everything with this machine you're looking at 340,000 - 360,000.
This particular model costs about $300,000... varying $20,000 more or less depending on the options you buy with it.
That 35' header is $40,000 with composite fingers which I use myself because they are basically hard plastic and if one breaks and runs through the machine it won't do any damage. With steel fingers the cost is a little more but if one was to break or come out and run through the machine it's going result in costly repairs.
As for driving it, it's not that difficult to drive... anyone can drive a combine it only takes 5 minutes to learn. Mastering it is the hard part. You have to constantly make adjustments to your rotor speed, concave clearance, fan speed, and reel speed. When grain is hauled to the mill they 'doc' you (take money) for cracked and damaged grain, foreign materials like stems and hulls, and moisture.
yea the farmer i use to work for ran a 9610 the choppers are right at the back and will sling out easier than these i know what it does when it throws corn cobs i would hate to see what happens when those blades start flying

My family still farms 2000 acres with a 6600, why give forein companies $300,000 for a machine that is nothing but an electrical nightmare?

How can anyone stand the john deere draper headers. We finally traded our 936D's off on honeybee headers. Wow what a difference.

Thanks very much, NIRScar! I had no idea how much something like that would be. Amazing piece of equipment, though!

Sorry folks, that's a 635F not a 930. Exact same thing I run on my 9760.

Thats a 930 flex header. I run one just like it on a 9750 combine

I'd keep a little more distance with that 4 wheeler. Ever seen a straw chopper throw knives when the rod holding them snaps? Ain't pretty.
