I'm glad Holland is coming around! we got lots of fair trade/ecological products here nowadays! not as much as 'regular' products, but it's going strong! Even one of our biggest chocolate manufacturers 'Verkade' has gone fair trade for about a year now! =)

The song was written by an Englishman, John Newton, who was a slave trader before he repented his sins and chose a life of solitude as a preacher. He encouraged Wilberforce in his fight to end the slave trade.
