I think Pat's sound is pretty classic rock -ish but with a modern twist so I guess you could try to start with the bass and treble around 2 o'clock and the mids like 12 or 1 o'clock. Don't overdo it gainwise. I think Pat has a high output pickup at the bridge for the heavy stuff and something low to medium output at the neck for the quieter breakdown parts.

I also like how Patrick sometimes changes the way he sings the music and the lyrics... like when he sings the second bridge, he says "don't you dare open before Christmas" instead of "do not open before Christmas". And he changes the "-ly" in "only"; I mean the pitch, he changes the pitch to like two or three notes higher than it really is.
