Easier said than done. I actually haven't been that impressed with the Scrin. Half their units have innacurate weapons that miss with half their shots (and good luck hitting a moving target). I could probably destroy a warship with one rocket squad by running around in circles =S. And in the expansion (Kane's wrath), the Scrin superunit just doesn't match up with the GDI and Nod superunits.

I kinda noticed that, but I'm still impressed with the scrin's planetary assault carriers. Get 10 of those spacecraft in front of your base and 5 tripods below them... TURTLE!

To be honest, I haven't really tried the carriers, simply because it appears as though as soon as they lose their fighters (which I figure can happen fast?...), they're useless (other than generating ion storms). Can you rebuild the fighters? Doesn't seem like it. I'm quite fond of the Stormrider fighters though. I basically won every scrin mission with those (when available). I think I used about 30-40 in the final mission and just levelled everything.

Your turtling idea sounds good though. Especially if you stick a couple corrupters constant-repairing (ie attacking) on each of your tripods. For fun I played a skirmish against a medium GDI comp and destroyed its entire base with one tripod and 9 corruptors constantly repairing it. The comp simply couldn't get the tripod's (or any of the corruptors') health down faster than I was repairing it lol.

I forgot to mention that I also place about 8 devastator warship behind the PAC's. the devastators kinda acts as support for the PAC's if ever the PAC's run out of fighters...

and my only unit that attacks. 1 master mind with a 5 tripods. I teleport them behind the enemy lines>_>

my finishing attack though is 20 PAC's with like... 10 Devastators.

AA turrets don't stand a change... but of course if there was 100 aa turrets... then I would be doomedO_O

The mothership is powerful, but not that tough. If you can get it to spawn in the enemy base, wahey! But against a dug in opponent its just the "ohsh*t!" factor that makes it so powerful. The Rift is the superweapon.

hehe Scrin is one of the best races in C&C no it is the best race and yes droniac they play more like protoss :) they are a mixture out of protoss and zerg

cause the buzzer (standard units of scrin) are not very strong but the can make a very high damage on infantry :D and well WC3 and C&C both games R0Ck :)

but hey, Command and Conquer is the best RTS sorry to say but it's the truth :) i'm playing ESL so i know what i'm talking about :)

It makes for balanced gameplay, but not much sense. Any alien race that can meet the energy needs of interplanetary travel can probably support the energy needs of apocalyptic weapons instead of puny War of the Worlds style lasers. The idea that they would even send ground forces before suppressing most resistance from orbit...EA, just as long as you don't F up Spore, I'll consider you redeemed.
