Sorry but why is this video "Amazing" - apart from the fact that they ask you not to use electronic devices during take-off and landing because they have been know to interfere with non-wired control signals on the plane?

@marcus2s If you don't like it then you don't like pretty simple. "They" ask you not to use electronic devises during take off that transmit signals such as "Mobile Phones" it is perfectly safe to use a digital camera ;) although some experts now say it is safe to use devices such as mobile phones anyway now, but I believe just for the record those devices should either be switched off or on airplane mode.

@marcus2s why is it amazing? a brief snapshot of a part of the world one will probably never see. rugged terrain, endless sand and golden dust intersected by man-made structures.. a beautiful ocean in the background, small towns and the thousands who live in this mysterious landscape flash by below. the cars on that motorway.. who are they and where are they going? their entire lives have coordinated perfectly with ours to be present at that moment.. that why i love flying. use your imagination!

cool video. i flew qatar airways from manchester to jakarta return a couple of years back, it was the best airline i've flown with. the service was amazing,great technology ( i called home somewhere over the indian ocean with the phone in the arm rest ) food was nice and the stewardesses were very attractive. all in all an excellent service.

What is the difference between Qatar and Emirates airways?Qatar seems to cost more than Emirates.Is is worth to pay the extra specially for a long trip on air.

@Mega2010happy Emirates service is not as good - they cram more seats into the economy cabin (the Boeing 777-300ER for example has 10 seats in each row!) which means it's not at all comfortable. Qatar and Etihad are much more spacious in economy and for me provide a better experience. Also the Emirates cabin crew I have found to be variable, a few will be helpful but most don't seem to care about their passengers at all.
