(Yea i know its a sax.... I play sax. Just not retarded slide whistles.)

  • sounds like an instrument from outer space

  • This is what someone makes when they're high and have looked at a sax and trombone for too long lol. Good performance though, must've been a b***h to learn how to play that thing.

  • I would think that it's a theramin if this was just audio

  • the swan by camille saint-saens

  • some due is going to find it for ten buck and start playing blues with it

  • the swan!! wow its sounds cool

  • sounds like a theramin 2 me.

  • clarimen

  • Ok at first it sounded like an opera singer... Interesting instrument

  • how is this a sax ? !

  • @jordana12098

Probably one of Adolph's earlier prototypes. It does work on the same principle and have the same sound production mechanism. (Brass body, reed and mouthpiece)

  • @jordana12098 sax mouthpiece

  • Arno Bornkamp and the breathalyzer

  • I knew these existed, but I didn't know they sounded like the oboe's mentally disabled cousin.

  • @iPodiNsanity lol

  • what?

  • the.. slaxophone? or the slidinet?

  • Acoustic theremin.

  • Yeah, its tone is more of a clarinet than a saxophone. It sounds like a median in between them kind of.

  • imagine walking into a school jazz band with one of those

  • No, that is a saxophone. Clearly not a trombone - it has a reed mouthpiece.

  • Never heard of or seen such a thing before. Yippeee!

  • thats not a sax. it looks like a freakin soprano trombone ur sumthin

  • @Bloodgharm1 actually a trombone is always beast and that isnt i know, i play one

  • Sounds like a theramin.

  • I'd love to hear this instrument used to play the part of the theramin in the song Good Vibrations by the Beach Boys.

  • Thats no saxophone its more like a trombone.

  • sounds like a oprah singer

  • like a pre-technology theremin

  • sounds like a theremin

  • @ManWithFIngers ya know, it does sort of sound like one of those, especially with the vibrato.

  • how freakish

  • LOL! Wait till the chinese get a hold of this

  • What the hell is this LOL? Mini Trombonal Soprillo Saxophone?

  • Reminded me theremin so much!

  • @DMANGUY14 yeah, the glissando would be much easier to do

  • what the fuck?!!?!?

  • Sounds more like a clarinet than a sax.

  • @musicmanson That's because it's cylindrical as opposed to conical, which a saxophone is.

  • @Jordanx67 Right. As I watch the video again, I see that.
