The mustang is very appreciated amongst the younger generation and even myself, so I find it a good choice, for a remake. Using the same car would be just plain old fuckin' stupid.

@tv2zebra - *sigh* tearing up right now cuz this and DVD's of Batteries Not Included and Seasons 1, 2 and 3 of Knight Rider were one of the last things my dad sent to me before he died from complications due to exposure to polychlorinated bisphenol leaking from a transformer illegally dumped at the junk yard he'd been working at. Always used to cry at the scene of J5 getting beat up and the horse dying in Never Ending Story. Miss my dad... didn't get to express to him my appreciation.

Wall-E was a movie about how technology is killing us slowly, this movie is about morality and the realization that a machine was 'flim flam'd' into doing someone elses dirty work. Both are great feature films and the robotics are similar just like all living organisms are similar.
