  • This is called the king of offroad why? It doesn't even have solid axles....

  • @CnRDirt Who says that offroad vehicle should have solid axles? Isn't the main thing that the vehicle is capable. Look for chainlink 4x4 video here in youtube, it will beat any solid axle vehicle in wheel articulation. One reason why hummer doesn't have solid axles, is that with independent suspension you get superior ground clearance.

  • That spotter is the definition of useless!

  • at least it was just the door...

  • he zigged we he should have zagged. should have went left before it hit. Don't need a spotter to know that. oh my trucks leaning so i'm gonna keep going the direction thats causing it. idiots. Have the money for a hummer at least replace them doors with tube doors and that dent wouldn't have happen.

  • H1 jeep land rover Suzuki thennnn all other hummers

  • @bapismc .. Land rover wouldn't clear that sorry.. Neither would alot of jeeps for that matter.. Hummer-jeep-land rover..

  • horrible driver, but even worse spotter

  • GAZ-66 cool!!!!

  • that old guy said and i qoat "he needs to be at more of an angle or he will flip over, again" unqoat

  • @MrINVADER727 its spelled quote....

  • Boy, H1 suspension pretty much refuses to even move!! Cool trucks, but I love my solid axles!!

  • @theninja001 well they were designed for desert storm which is sand. independent doesn't have a bulky differential housing acting as an anchor in deep soft sand dunes. same idea works with ruts in mud. solids are far superior for crawling.

  • @markssite yeah, they definantly perform great where they can fit!! i would love to have one!

  • @theninja001 lol they definitely fit in a wide open desert. I want one too. Hopefully I can afford a surplus 2 door sometime in my life. I don't care how banged up or blood stained it is. I've seen some surplus sites selling them for 25-30grand. Not too bad for a raw off road truck fixed up by the military that comes with 37s. I mean a new jeep can run up to 30grand without 37s so the rumor jeeps are cheaper is false unless its used and banged up by an amateur not a trained soldier.

  • debió girar la rueda a tiempo a la izquierda... :S

  • devió girar la rueda a tiempo a la izquierda... :S

  • ahhaha stupid hammer driver.. Land Rover 4 ever!

  • @bapismc It was the idiot spotter.

  • THE BEST OFF ROADER. H1 IS SUPERIOR

  • needs more flex, and that spotter is the reason why he has a jacked up door. the driver did great with what he was being told.

  • wow almost no articulation on that suspension. i think ill stick to My TJ

  • thats the problem with rock crawling on IFS

  • great video, but as soon as this video started you could tell that hummer was going over. He began way to far on the rock and then turning the wheels to the right near the end of the video just made that truck to unbalance. Definitely spotter error though. But hey its a hummer, and knock out that dent :D

  • that shit'll buff out

  • Great vid, Great driving, Great Car!

  • i swear these things have no articulation

  • this is a hmmwv not a hummer

  • @MrINVADER727 this is a hummer h1 hmmwv is for military

  • at 2:11 if he would turn left it wont crash it anymore

  • Fuck it... that's what they are for.

  • Spotters need practice but with that come a cost, i say the spotter should pay for it and thats done, but i'd also be happy to pay for my own damage, you have to disobay the spotter sometimes when you think hes wrong.

  • This shows the H1

    Hummers Capabilities!

  • Couldnt have choosen a better line that you dont have to buy a new door!

  • That's why I don't use spotters, I can't trust em. I just walk the terrain first think where my tires need to be, then take my time at it. But then again, I don't drive a 100k+ vehicle off road. But I would if I could...hehe

  • thats why you take the doors off and put in tube doors just for off roading.

  • amazing

  • wow that hummer made a nice bounce back when it went on it's side.

  • and who the hell needs it? lol

  • whats flex???

  • Hey what's a Hummer without a dent?

  • shits crazy!!!!

  • No, turn it your OTHER left!

    LOL

  • This is soo crazy! beats the shit out of my locked up coilover dodge. and i thought i had a rockcrawler!

  • Should have turned left hand down. would have stopped it rolling over

  • gm ruined hummer

  • spotter is a DUMB-ASS! i would have listened to the guy who knew what he was doing. I dont mind pushing my Jeep through the toughest lines, but that was just stupid pride on the spotter.

  • u see how little you know and seen, now you know that hummers go through there

  • Hey spotter, You are a Fucktard.

  • chill shit nigga.

but dont that fck up your alignment?

  • Hey Spotter! Wake up retard! What the hell line did you see there? Driver should have listened to the guy who had actually driven up it before....

  • your spotter is a fucking douche bag i would have gotten out and kicked him sqaure in the balls

  • word!!!

  • Safety first.

  • Time for a new spotter

  • He deliberately put you on your side. What a jerk. You could have done better hanging your head out the window!

  • fuck thats badass.. i want one!!

  • stop...stop...stop....there is a perfectly open passage if he goes to his left abit...oh...then his left side will be climbing the ridge....oh......too wide...mmmm....ok keep doing what you are doing......crunch...thud....smash.

  • I'd kick the spotter's ass. That looked bad from the beginning. He should have had him at least steer driver once the tire planted.

  • nice piece of work :)

  • nice climb.

  • I miss the H1s.

  • omost fliped for a sec.

  • nothing that a sledge won't fix...

nice trail though, used to ride my mtn bike down it. great trail.

  • Spotter should have been yelling left hand down!!!!!! Could have been avoided.

  • Yeah but then he probably would have dropped the sill on the other side onto a rock.

  • The amazing thing about the H1 seems to be the fact that IS like taking a schoolbus off road. Its supposed to go fast over fields with no roads and no boulders. Being able to rock climb is just a huge bonus.

Its like a kids toy, meant to be durable enough even for the dumbest kid, who rides it as hard as possible without even thinking about breaking anything.

It amazes me how much childminded abuse it can take. Certainly much more that you can sensibly expect it to.

  • Then why are you watching this vid?

  • nice car

  • fire that Spotter, he's a moron

  • he made it dident he

  • yaa after he smashed up his $100000 h1

the whole purpose of a spotter is to minimize all damage

  • oh well he can buff that out

  • Definitely spotter error, but practice makes perfect. The spotter doesn't always know there correct line for every vehicle, because often differenct vehicles needs a different lines. Of course, if it is a group of all hummers, then its just rinse and repeat. ;)

  • ya he needed to get one foot over to the right. the guy on the right should of been the spotter

  • great video like the hummers

  • he would have listend to the firstguy backed out and moved the hummer over another foot or when ever he said

  • Terrible spotter!

  • great video guys awesome trails and beautiful rigs!!!

  • that was great holy cow but ouch on the slam

  • regardless of vehicle. That was purely driver and spotter error. He turn the wheels to the right before he gassed it which sent him slamming into the rock. Hummer, Rover, or Jeep he would have bashed that rock.

  • You know I'm thinking that any other 4x4 wouldn't have handled this as well due to them having a much higher center of gravity than the H1.

    Just a thought

  • lol luky he left with ownly a door dent if the rock was not ther the car will have rolled

  • how many of you guys own hummers?

there is like 6 or 7 in the background

    jesus you guys are lucky

  • H1 is the best off roading vehicle for civilian!! i tried it when i ride my uncle`s H1 alpha in mt pinatubo, philippines i am laughing at those FJ,wrangler, toyota cruiser getting stock in mt pinatubo

  • Not really it doesn't have much articulation. It was designed as a more of a go fast over stuff then a specialty rock crawler or mudder.

  • Where did you get your brush guard at.

  • For the price of one stock H1 I can buy 2 Jeep wrangler Rubicon's swap HEMI's into them, swap the axles, put a lift, tires, etc. AND have money left over for a down payment on a boat.

  • but then u would still have a gay jeep

  • no! he would have TWO gay jeeps remember LOL

  • All types have there advantages and dis advantages. ever seen a H1 take on a puddle halfway up its windshield? its amazing. but the jeeps are too light for that. but jeeps can get through this stuff faster cuz there lighter and smaller.

  • yh but comon a jeep wrangler is a normal car not just everybody owns a h1

  • all american suv's are made for rock climbing and river crossing unlike nissan patrol's and toyota landcrusers and toyota fj cruiser.

trust me in the place i live no american cars get gooing they either get stuck or blow their engines..

  • on left no on right.....aj jaj jaaaaa uhhh

    HUMMER H1 the MONSTER *** *

  • 2:38 shudv had his wheels turned the other way to keep it from tipping

  • yeah he is hummer the legend

  • big < stronge < and shiny that,s hummer baby!

  • BESST VID!!

  • OOOOOkaay so the 80 mph comment was misinformed. It's not good at that either. I'll avoid writing an easy as well... though I may just be prompted to write about the use of a dictionary, in the form of an ESSAY - will keep you posted.

  • Damn, I got owned by a youtube poster.

I better go sell my trucks and get out of the off road business. Because obviously I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Feel free to post your off road videos, otherwise I'm wasting my time responding to another armchair off road guru shooting shit in the breeze ;).

  • Apparently you are, but I accept your appology - sorry to turn up the revelation about the offroad business for you.

  • Still waiting for your videos mr. hummer expert. Do a search for psycho squad for any of ours.

  • Bwahahahaha nice claim, you're not doing yourself any favors. Sorry to dissapoint, but my wheeling is not recorded and I try to avoid claiming on youtube. I thought you were waisting your time...

  • What claim? Why respond to *OUR* clubs videos? You're the one spreading misinformation. You want a solid axle setup, go buy a unimog or a defender for that. 80 Mph in the desert? Truck wasn't designed for that, you have to invest a fair amount of money to upgrade the h1 to do that, we have Score Competition H1 racers in our group. It's very expensive. I don't know what it is about our trucks but it brings out all the weirdos spreading misinformation. I never get that with my jeep [go figure].

  • "we have Score Competition H1 racers in our group. It's very expensive." ... CLAIM ... finding an excuse to show off, brag, etc...

Recap: I admitedly make a partially-misinformed yet whitty;) comment to which you take offense and let it ruffle your feathers. You jump on the opportunity to impart your godly knowledge of the glorious hummer unto the world, tell me I have no idea what I'm talking about, and proceed to make said claims... the hate ensued. go home

  • It's not really showing off when we break shit half the time :). That being said the hummer just a different off road vehicle. It has its weakness's and strengths. If you go by you tube comments, you'd think all hummers get 1 mpg, float on water, are bullet proof, have the wheelbase of a limo, breaks tie rods every 3 feet, and all run on gasoline. No harm no foul, see you on the trail [where these trucks belong].

  • he sould have turned left when his front wheel was off the ground that way he wont have landed on the side

  • So this is what you do with the vehicle designed to cruise in the desert at 80 mph...

Solid axles always make things easier.

  • Ugh? you ever driven these things in the desert? 80mph? Unless you are running baja with an upgraded suspension it's not fun. I'm going to avoid writing an easy on this but in short the hmmwv platform was designed for a wide array of terrain, ideally hit and run tow tank killers in eastern europe in case Russia swarmed the Rhine during the cold war.

Besides the cooling system can't handle sustained 80mph off road without significant upgrades. You have no idea what you are talking about.

  • ^^^^^^

  • He could have avoided that dent if he had done it right. Live and learn !

  • Great job wheeling that sweet H1. Hummer, Like Nothing Else.

  • Amazing...only a hummer can do this....real nice video dude...

  • uhh... and jeeps too.

  • any thing the hummer can do the jeeps can do it too but better

  • Jeeps do it without the damage. Your spotter took you on a bad line.

  • What kind of tires are you running on that hummer?

I drove a hummer in the military as well and it went where ever I pointed it. Then again it didn't belong to me so I drove it like I stole it. heh

  • 40" ProComp X Terrains- 40x13.5x17

  • @kletterman no you drove a hmmwv big differnce and this is also a hmmwv

  • Ouch! lol, that's pretty cool!

  • sračky...

  • dam that was cool hummers are the best

  • Hummers are my fav, they can get through almost anything! Thanks for the movie!

  • yeah i do agree with u that they can get through almost everything but thats if they can fit. a lot of the places i go trailing in the northern stats u would have to cut down the forest for a hummer to fit through

  • jeeps can fit everywhere hummers are too big

  • All those lifted jeeps I see on the trails all the time with the same wheelbase as the H1 running 37-40" tires and big beefy axles must be my imagination eh? ;) Only difference is the truck has more potential for body damage then a small buggy on top of a larger rolling chassis.

  • good bye mirror and did you see all those other hummers at the bottom of the hill

  • Its a TANK i love it i heard they dont make them anymore for the public its a shame

  • hummers are nice, but they have no suspension travel. they have 0 "flex" and makes them horrible in off-camber situations. I'd take a jeep with me any day.

  • you need to drive one before posting nonsence...

  • I agree you don't know until you drive one off-road

  • People will find reasons to devalue anything

simply to hide the fact that they can't afford it.

Don't have time to look other videos but I'm sure there are comments how 'Mustang' better then 'Ferrari'...

  • this is true......I can't afford one, I'm a soldier so I get to drive them. now the military just needs to get a contract with Ferrari and maybe I will re-enlist.

  • I do own one,although I couldn't in your age.

And I was a soldier in ex-Soviet Army.

I drove through the snow up to the nose in

-40 Celcium... Throught the mud that could sink H1. So I do have 'little' off-road expirience when I say - HUMMER is second to none!!

  • only a hummer h1 can do stunts like that!!!! if America was not blessed, they wouldn't have come up with a beauty in a beast like a hummer...

  • thats alot of weight on the frame

  • now that's a car

  • That other guy who was helping spot at first, he knew what was going to happen. The driver should have listened to him and his door would still be straight. I think the person spotting in this case should pay for the repair because he was warned by the other guy this was going to happen.

  • i agree. The spotter seemed as though he lacked experience with the offroading characteristics of a hummer, setting the driver up for a "long way down" fall. Anyone know what tires this dented up mofo is using? I thought they were kumhos at first but not so.

  • 40" Procomp X Terrains...

  • You should have turned the wheel left instead of right

  • good job negotiating that, the hummer seems to have no flex what so ever, so it definately made that scary

  • I dont think Hummers are meant for rock-crawling like that... But it takes some big balls to get up in the air like that :O

  • WOW, THAT WAS SWEEEEET< nice job, would be pretty scary, added to my 67 other hummer h1 favorites, Hummers forever, add more, Ill watch

  • I always feel like crappin my pants when I do tippy stuff like that!

  • Yea that was a sketchy one... actually the 1st tippy part was expected and I did really well. The last tippy part was unexpected and the spotter didn't see it coming so I was not ready for it at all. Now it's time to bang out the dent.. not too worried about perfection because I know I'll just do it again sometime. :)

  • great job, nice hummer! thats why their so wide-to make harder to tip!

  • Pretty crazy getting all dukes of hazzard on that.
