Good work boys, I use to work for Emsworth VFD when I lived in Pittsburgh. I have been gone for seven years now and when I came up to visit my home town last summer I had the pleasure to train with you guys but with a different badge on my gear (City of Charleston SC). Keep up the good work guys I do miss the Pittsburgh firefighting, it isnt the same down here lol.

Thats the city of pittsburgh, pittsburgh isnt just the city. check mailing addresses outside of the city. Bellevues is pittsburgh pa 15202

Pittsburgh is made up of the city and all of its surrounding communities. Ask people that dont live in the actual city where they live and everyone says pittsburgh. I get your point in what your saying but places that border or somewhat near the city go by it

@PghFynest If you were a true Pittsburgher (judging by your Username) you would understand that we refer to all of the surrounding communities as "Pittsburgh", not just the actual City of Pittsburgh itself.

Awesome! How big is your town? How many calls you get a year?

It is a square mile town we run between 300 and 400 calls. If we got dispatched to everything we should it would be closer to 400
