  • i love this song i wish i'd written it

  • Which one died again? and is the other still in prison?

  • @TheGumballman12 Alan was the one who died, in '95, after a freak accident, while on tour with Smokie.

Alan is the one who is the lead singer, who is really getting into the dance.

  • Crê em deus pai .-.

  • @Redderson4571 That isn't Rod Stewart, that's Alan Barton, who went from Black Lace to Smokie. Apparently he was mistaken for Rod Stewart several times during his career.

  • @MsAsangel Yeah I know. I was only messing.

  • I still love it secretly

  • Better than LMFAO!

  • i feel sorry for the 80's

  • Black Lace now available at weddings christenings funerals baar mitzvahs

  • so funny to read the comments left here. As crazy as this song was, as silly or stupid as some may think it, the song was a chart hit in its day. Now, How about you armchair critics get up and give it a shot, see if you can out see this pair of funeee's . They had a ball , made a fortune doing, made lots of kids smile too. Unlike some of the miserie's on here huh.. lol

  • I just listened to black sabbath and really enjoyed it. Now im listening to this and ..err. really enjoying it. Is that so very wrong? ;)

  • oh no..it's the fucking HOOLA MELODY..the nightmare song of my childhood years....it was a sweet nightmare nevertheless :P

  • It's so dead obvious that the guy on the left is 99% into this, while the guy on the right with the glasses is the remaining 1%. pathetic performance by him.

    Put your back into it!!!

  • ilook is bbc van

  • that drummer is a right pineapple

  • this was my fav song when i was 5

  • ROFL!!!! This is hilarious. So funny ;)

I still prefer Agadoo over anything of the X Factor though.

  • Let's be honest. We have all drunkenly danced to this at a wedding reception.

  • @N0228200 At a wedding:No. At a Funeral:Yes.

  • @N0228200 read my mind.... xD i usually sneak out the back

  • @N0228200 I wasnt drunk...

  • @N0228200

    And how often!

  • The guy on the right must've been Limahl's No. 1 fan!

  • Hold a chicken in the air, stick a deckchair up your nose, buy a jumbo jet...

  • We still dance to this and apparently were Adults

  • AGADOO DOO DOOIN YA MAM

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

    O comecinho é épico.

  • my little couzin is addicted to this! she keeps saying aaaaaaaaaaaggggggaaaaa dooo to try get us to put this on!

  • BRILLIANT, ABSOLUTELY SO BRILLIANT! AND NO MATTER WHART NEGATIVE THIMNGS ARE SAID ABOUJT THEM THEY ARE STILL FAR BETTER THAN THE RUBBISH COMING FROM S**T PROGRAMMES SUCH AS X FACTOR!

  • Superb chOOn!

  • There wasn't much wrong with 80s music, but what was wrong with it is pretty much summed up here...

  • thumbs up if you are watching this :)

  • Isn't that Ben Dover?

  • @liverbird1890 No. I think, these are Alan Barton (left) and Terry Dobson (right). (But I am not sure 100%!!!) :D

  • @ZakujFR I think the guy on the right is Colin Gibb.

  • @TheEurythmicsFan Maybe... When I wrote to Google ,,Colin Gibb", I thought, that your comment is true... But on the left is Alan Barton (I know for sure :D).

  • @ZakujFR Yeah, you're definitely right about Alan Barton.

  • Alan Barton is on the left, he went on to front Smokie he tragically died in a coach crash on tour in Germany .

On the right Colin Gibb aka Colin Routh.

As a further bit of info, their record company went bankrupt just before they were to pay the lads a big fat royalties cheque for their chart success.

Shame I liked them both as people and spent quite a bit of time with Col in the pub playing video games :)

Last time I saw Alan was doing a car treasure hunt around Wakefield, then he was gone..

  • Fantastic. I remember hearing my brother having orgasms singing this song whilst playing with a pineapple

  • @doggiedoo2 what was you doing listening to your brother having an orgasm> and how would you know he was playing with a pineapple? Think you are on the wrong type of web-site. There are others which may cater much better for your tastes

  • cool song

No shit they'd be watching it, especially if you say 2011.. Dumb asses.. -.-

it gets played at my air cadet disco and i always get up and dance :D

  • thumbs up if your watching in 2053.

  • for the first verse we came up with our own at Burton Albion.. it goes

    Maghoma Ma Ma

He is better than Paul Carden

    Maghoma Ma Ma

    Is our midfield magician

    From his left

    To the right

    To the samba beat tonight..

Peschi signed him on a free

And he looks like Mr T!

  • i am proud to be british.

  • I used to self harm with razor blades, now I listen to this... Same effect.....

  • Every wedding reception should play this!

  • I only just realised it's Push Pineapple not push my apple

  • Butlins and Haven when I was little :-) Thumbs up.

  • There was a Thai version of this song a few years ago on Academy Fantasia. The Thai version was better ;)

  • The door to Narnia brought me here.

  • This. This is the UK's contribution to modern music. It all sounds... well, let's say, "interesting."

  • @jenova10101010 By modern music you mean in the region of 25 years old !

Where are you from mate ? bet the music there was shit too 25 years ago.

  • @Lee7559 America. Some of it was, there's good and bad from everywhere. This must be a cultural thing though because every show I've seen on BBC America has "interesting" choices as well, to the point where it's immediately obvious. Didn't people over there vote in an old RATM single over some silly overproduced pop singer a year or two back because of the overproduced nature of the UK music scene? We're ready for a good New Wave of British Metal (or anything quality) over here, get cracking!

  • 0:24 and 1:27 just aren't natural

  • LSD brought me here.

  • @Diabloste LOL !

  • i actually love this song XD

  • LMFAO!! we had to DANCE TO THIS in primary school omfg back in 95 or something

  • How do I still know all the words to this song? I don't mean the chorus... I mean all of it. I haven't heard the full song for about 25 years!!!!

Once this is in... it's not getting out again!

  • After listening to this, The Chicken Song from Spitting Image makes a lot more sense.

  • "If Pulp are only remembered for this song (Common People), I don't care. It's a good song. Black Lace are only remembered for Agadoo, so it could have been worse." (Jarvis Cocker on Reading Festival 2011)

  • @Bliss1609 woah! is was "common people" that bought me here haha it's weird but i recon they got a simmilar sound

  • @Bliss1609 technically incorrect because Black Lace will also be remembered for Superman and The Conga Song.

  • My mind is full of fuck....

  • I proper love this song, I cant understand how people can hate it!!! :L

  • I'm sure the CIA must play this on a loop to torture terror suspects. After about 15 hours of this, they will reveal all to make it stop!

  • @ephemeralprotagonist 15 hours of this would be a reward for me. If I were a terrorist and the CIA said "If you tell us what we need to know, you can listen to Agadoo for as long as you like," I would squeal like a pig.
