  • Thanks for sharing this!!!

  • pure genius, God bless you Brian, you are the most inspirational guitarist on Earth

  • I could just listen to the last bit on it's own...FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC!!!

  • You´re a fabulous musician/songwriter Brian! And i do love you for that reason!

  • Brian May is great, I have huge respect for him because he's such an honourable person.

  • wow nice shirt...really very nice

  • interessantissimo :-) ma io vorrei sapere chi sono i 3 imbecilli che hanno votato "non mi piace" a questo video..bah!

  • @wildduck76 i bimbomikia e la generazione bieber

  • Three people who don't understand musicians and the development of a song disliked this video, LOL!

  • Genial.. End of!!!!

  • ahhh sweeeet

  • leave it to brian may to be the only guitarist in the world to say, "oh ya i play the harp, guitar, banjolele, and.... oh ya! i play the goddamn jazz band

  • 2:43 = PURE GENIUS

  • Puoi dargli anche un manico di scopa attaccato ad una lavatrice...

  • OMG so GRRRRREAT! Brian had to do a HUGE amount of work to compose and record those tracks. That's the music that stays forever.

  • f*** me this is insane. Brian May is GOD!

  • did this guy release any solo albums

  • @IpodAndrewts Yes! "Back to the Light" and "Another World" are his solo studio albums. And "Live at the Brixton Academy" is...well...live. LOL

  • Brilliant is an underrated word for this guy.. Incredible.

  • And this is what makes Brian May the best guitarist of all time. To have that idea and then execute it... man. And some of the other tracks on the album were so inspired as well. "Seaside Rendezvous," "Prophet's Song" and, of course, "Bohemian Rhapsody." All on one album? INCREDIBLE.

  • <3 !!!!

  • Brian is awesome.

  • Magia pura. Genio total en todos los idiomas.

  • Brilliant. What modern pop-rock musicians have this kinda craft and ambition? It doesn't exist anymore...at least not in Top 40/major label garbage pushed on the masses.

  • Gosh he has such a beautiful voice. :)

  • Genious end of!!!

  • If i ever become a seller in an Ice Cream van, i want my jingle to be the last minute between 2:42 - to the end. :D

  • @ Stuart0000X

    LOL! can totally picture it

  • Incredible xx

  • Brian.. What a guitarist And what genuine guy Also :-)

  • Lots of words describe Brian May as a guitarist but it's this arrangement that puts him in the " ARTISTIC VISIONARY" category .. without equal when it comes to overdubbing and total harmonic beauty. I could care less about the Queen of England ... "GOD SAVE THE MAY !!! "

  • One of his best songs ever

  • What a genious...

  • from 2:43 and on sounds like something from a super mario game xD

  • Lo que Brian May logra solo con su guitarra y el overdub (sobregrabacion) es tan perfecto, la polifonia de una seccion de vientos de Dixie. Se puede escuchar el clarinete, el trombon, la corneta. Que musicazo, por Dios! Impresionante

  • Maravilloso.

  • Brian May is rediculously talented and amazingly cool. He can make a guitar sound like a bunch of other instruments. I love him!

  • Brian is a genial guitarist.. my fave of all time.. who can compare with this??? nobody is the answer!

  • For Queen Fans:

A free and commercial fre radio all about Queen. 24/7 queen orqueen related songs.

    Database is under construction.

    queen radionomy

  • will this exist in the near future?

  • The amount of talent it takes to create something like this even today is remarkable. But considering this was done in 1975, it's positively astounding.

  • why's that? the talent we had those days is someting that doesn't exists today. today nobody cares about writing genius songs like this anymore. people only cares of making shity songs u can listen to 2,3 weeks and then they throw it to the garbage. we will never have great music like in those days...

  • This mand is GOD.

  • My favorite song from my favorite musician...

  • remarkable insight into the production of one of my favorite albums.

  • ALL the members of Queen were / are Maestros in their own chosen fields.

  • Brian May is so talented its crazy! And he really seems to be a very nice down to earth person aswell. I could only dream about being that good on guitar i mean Cmon!

  • You are so right!!!!

  • Fascinating ... and a really likeable guy who's remained himself despite the overwhelming stardom that depressed him for a while. I hope he'll play Sir Isaac Newton in the next biopic, incidentally.

  • And he STILL sings amazingly!

    AMAZING!

Or as the beer guys would say, "BRILLIANT!!"

  • God I love this man soooo much :-) !!

and I love this song of course !

  • Great video - but frustrating cuz im trying to learn it on uke and he's playing in a different key than the albbum!! But no arguing - the man is oneof the most brilliant and talented people who ever lived. Listen to "The March of the Black Queen".

  • yeah i noticed that too

  • The fingering looks the same as it woud be for C tuning, but it must be tuned lower. Wish I knew all the chords for this.

  • Круто

  • 20 years, he says. Man he's the same!

  • holy crap brian may

  • that is so damn cool!

  • You gotta respect this man....he's amazingly talented!

  • There can be only 1!! I've played this song hundreds of times and it's unbelievable.. what a guy!!!

  • The music at the end sounds like something out of Super Mario Bros. Nice.

  • And he has a gorgeous voice too!

  • And that is why I say he is a composer trapped in the body of a rock guitarist.

  • That's a nice little song Brian sings,a true classic.

  • INSTRUMENT GOD.

In the little booklet for A Night at the Opera, it says he plays the guitar, ukulele, harp, and toy koto.

    WOW

  • He also plays the harp in 'Love of My Life', on the same album. Check it out.

  • Err...pardon me. He plays the...ukulele-banjo...thing. From George Formby. xD

  • @SongfromBohemia 4 instruments is not a lot lol. Brian can also play piano, synthe, probably bass and some other ones... Roger's also a multi-instrumentalist, and a lot of people are in rock/pop music. =)

(I'm not trying to minimize Brian's talent, of course)

  • @SongfromBohemia. piano also.

  • @SongfromBohemia. Piano also.

Brian May is a virtuoso on all the instrument's he plays.

  • @SongfromBohemia But remember, Brian May is God! He can play fucking everything :D

  • Not only is this brilliant guitar work - but Brian's singing voice is perfect for this song.

  • Its Been Twenty Years lol. Brians A God and Will Remain a God.

  • That's sounds unbelievably cool the guitar harmonies. Need I say more? They don't even sound like it came from a human being. It's just dazzling.

  • FUCKING GENIUS...NEED I SAY MORE?

  • So the "Jazz band" is synth?

  • No no...it the guitar, playing all parts

  • May played it all?

  • He did indeed!

  • May's a beast!

  • Y>eah he is freaking genius but I loove this Old but gold!!!!

  • What is this from?

  • he is a freaking genius, and I'm proud to say he is my hero

  • first time i've heard that orchestrated part isolated from other instruments.

    masterclass

  • Clever guy

  • ive got a question about the pic at 1:25

why is brians hand on johns crotch

nothing wrong with it but still

  • hippie - Brian has his hand on his OWN knee...if you actually look at the picture you would see that!

  • i was origanaly (i cant spell) posting it as a joke and you dont have to be so mean

  • It was a hilarious and well made joke.

    NO. NOT SARCASTIC AT ALL.

  • well thank you

    i think

this is internet so i cant tell if your still kidding our not

  • Don't Joke around with Queen you disgraceful bitch!

  • Ph.D Brian May!

  • Brian May is seen as 1 of the great rock guitar heros, at least with the crowd I hung around

  • The amount of skill, creativity and patience it takes to not only orchestrate all those parts on guitar, but also to come up with the different tones for each part, is absolutely staggering. Very few guitarists in the world have this kind of ability and inventiveness. And to have pulled this off in 1975 to boot?? Cheers to you, Brian May.

  • This is pure genius. It's such a shame that May isn't seen in the North American mainstream as a guitar hero. Those last 40 seconds of music alone set him aside from every other rock guitarist into a world of his own.

  • Hear hear. It's a damn shame, how underrated and virtually unknown he is here in the States.

  • Worst, Brian May it's one of the most underrated guitarists in the world, that make me sick

I'm a huge Queen fan and personally love all things Brian May has ever done, including his solo albums, G3 works, movie soundtracks and more... but it doesn't mean I've only heard Queen... I hear tons of music of the 60's, the golden 70's and '80... So I hate when people talk about great guitarists sayin just Hendrix, Page, SRV and Slash... Dr. May is amazing, is the greatest :)

    Cheers

  • Ditto to that, LuiG9! I'm the same way.

  • i hear that,,if it wasnt for mr may,i wouldnt be playing guitar,,the guy is an absolute genius..

  • Me too!

But I've just started with the guitar, and I have to say is very Good Company...

    Cheers! keep playing!

  • or here in the finland. We had to make a presentation in a finnish class about some instrumentalist everyone knows, i wanted to make it about brian may and then my teacher comes and says "oh, sorry, i don't think that many people know who he is so would you please pick someone else", then i was so angry that i didn't make the presentation :D she didn't appreciate it.....

  • i'm sorry about that ....you don't have a good teacher

but don't get angry ........who did u pick?

  • che figata!!!

    what cool!!!

  • I love this song SO much!!!!! :D :D :D Brian is indeed a genius!

  • This is 100% genius. The guitar "horn section" makes me smile every time! Incredible.

  • One of the few I'd love to meet before I die.

    He's such an inspiration.

  • @mobile4357 Ditto!

  • @mobile4357 I did meet him once after a show. He is such a gentleman. Very mannered too--everything was 'please' and 'thank you' and 'I really appreciate you taking time from your schedule to hear me play.' An absolute one-off in the best way possible.

  • Brian May is a guitar god!!!

  • Take car of those you call your own... Gotta love Bri
